INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT POSTED IN WRONG FORUM AND REMOVED - RE:

Since we have had so much trouble with various types of spam lately, we have set a new rule that new members cannot post in the Announcements and Opportunities forum or any of it's sub-forums at all.

Once new members have posted in other areas a while and become a "Trusted member" showing that they want to be a part of the community, they will gain access to post in this forum.

So if any new member is found posting inappropriate topics elsewhere on the board they will be seen as a spammer trying to get around this rule. The posts in question will be removed and the user will be subject to removal from the community.
Promos of any kind belong in the Announcements and Opportunities forum, but as the posted rule quoted above mentions, new members do not have access to that forum. Posting such things in other areas is seen as trying to get around the rules and is taken as spam, especially when trying to get around the link restrictions too.

It is a good idea for new users to familiarize themselves with the rules of the community and/or specific forums before they start posting.

It is also customary for new members to introduce themselves before posting; especially when they want to promote something/share a website, post about a sell or trade or whatever; otherwise you might be mistaken for a spammer.
