Hysterosalphingogram

Has anyone ever had this test done??? I'm getting it done on the 20th. I just wanted to see what its all about and what I shall prepare for. Does it hurt? What does it feel like?

I had one about 25 years ago. Basically you lay on a table under a x-ray array. The inject radioactive dye into your uterus and tubes and check for scar tissue, blockages, and watch for the dye to escape from the ends of the fallopian tubes. you might feel a cold sensation during the injection, a sense of needing to pee. Also afterward when you stand up you might feel dizzy, or need to throw up. I don't remember any pain associated with it.
