Dollar Tree Finds

In case anyone is interested.. I was in Dollar Tree this morning and noticed they sell packs of 300 fake rose petals - in white, pink, or red - for $1. They also sell little packs of bubbles - I think there was 9 to a pack - for $1.

O! And Wal-Mart now has those BIG round paper lanterns - 10 on to a row - lighted, of course - for $20 and the little round paper lanterns - 10 on a row, also lighted - for $10 - they are in the Home & Garden Spring section next to all the potting soil & etc. They are available in pale green, white, stripes, red, etc... LOTS of colors!! I thought this was steal and have now decided to decorate my reception with them instead of tulle!!

I bought my centerpeices from their online store. I got those little rock things and also the floating candle bowls etc on their online store. They are only a dollar a peice. but thhey come in bulk. which is cool. so I was able to get like 12 per package for 12.00 I noticed they also had candles in limited colors and like you had mentioned rose petals. I can't get mine there, cause mine are going to be brown. But still, its an awesome deal for other people. they have lots of wedding stuff in store or on their website.

I got some of the bubbles from The Dollar Tree. I think there's 12 in a pack for $1. They're very plain, but we're gonna add labels and a ribbon, so they'll be cute. It was a really good deal.

I've gotten a few things from the dollar tree. My bubbles, my organza favor bags, and some other stuff. I was going to get the little vases for my centerpieces there but I found them at walmart for .97 cents and walmart had them all in stock on the selves. If I got the from the dollar tree I would have had to pay shipping from the website. But I agree they have a lot of stuff in store and online.

I GOot my throw garter from there. it was plain, so i added ribbons and crystals and pearls. worked perfect for me :)

I also got my bubbles from the Dollar Tree. They were 12 for $1. And then I added clear labels with our monogram on it & ribbons & rhinestones to them.

I got my favors from Dollar tree which is martini glasses for $1 a piece which was pretty much half the price I could find them anywhere else. I keep meaning to go back there to look for other items but haven't found the time yet

I bought the petals for my nieces wedding there. With only a few days before her wedding, she decided she wanted black flower petals.

So I bought 3 bags from the dollar store.

2 cans of spray paint from Walmart,

And it was under $10.00 for flower petals with the color of her choice.

DT has ALOT of good stuff on their website.
i'm gong to get some of their champagne flutes, and i'm going to stock up on the minty green m&m's for easter and freeze them(i need to check on that part :P), and then cover the glasses with black lace and tie it closed with silver ribbon and make those little cards to go on them...if i can't freeze the m&m's, i'll buy hershey's kisses, and make the ribbon green ;)

and i'm going to get the bubbles as well...i was going to rent champagne flutes, but figured we're not really champagne people, so i'm just going to buy the flutes and use them as favors.

thanks for pointing me towards the website! i found 7.5 inch glass cylinders, mirrors, and other vases for $1 each! i've been searching for cheap prices on these all over and cheapest i've seen these is 2.50 each on ebay!

hey you guys, another thing to do, and i know it sounds wrong, but cash out on someone else's engagement gone awry...brides who spend money and then end their engagement, put stuff on backpage and craigslist for super cheap, b/c it cannot be returned. another thing also, is on those sites, you find brides who keep their centerpieces thinking they will use them for decorating, then don't so they sell them super cheap!
