Ok, this is a bit crude, but Amber and I were just talking about this subject. Sorry, we talk about everything!! I think this is easier for men to do, but I thought I would take a poll to see. It's all in good clean fun!! LOL!!

Yes, I've done it on a few occasions. While it is a natural thing and everyone does it, I still try not to do it in front of him if I can help it.

LOL, I burp (like a man) on pretty much a regular basis though :bblol: He just laughs at me ;)

Ya know, I don't think I have ever heard DH do either :bbconfused:

LOL!!! You're so funny, Brandi!! I'm totally shocked that he has never done either. You don't see that often in a man, they usually take pride in doing those bodily functions. LOL!!

Yeah, like every other man I know likes to do these things and make jokes about it. (to this day my brother tells me he can burp better than me) But not my my man :wub:

But he does laugh at this kind of thing on TV :bbconfused:

My brother rates his farts in front of all his sisters. He's the only boy and there were three of us girls. He would say things like, that was silent but deadly, or that was loud but didn't have a smell. Didn't have a smell?!?!? You weren't downwind of it!! You're used to it!! He's a grown man that acts like a 2-year old. LOL!!! Sorry, I just realized that this is probably WTMI!!!

Yep, that sounds like my oldest brother (he is 22, the oldest of my 2 brothers, but still younger than me) Sadly I know many men that act like children ... which is fine to a point as long as you can act like a grown up when you should KWIM

Michael and I have been together forever, so we have competetions sometimes!:bbredface: I know, TMI from me too. When we 1st started dating I wouldn't burp or anything in front of him! It's funny how all these things change!

My bros. do the same thing! Silent but deadly, stuck in the mud, and many more that u don't want to know!

LOL...nice topic Karen!! Ha ha! I'll be honest and say, if I gotta do it, I do it, but I'm more likely to burp like a trucker then deliever a bomb!! lol. Matt is horriable for his "gas"...lol...but not as bad as my big brother. He will fart in the car in the summer when it's already REALLY hot, then he'll turn off the a/c and turn on the heat to make it worse....AND lock all the windows. Yup my brother is digusting, I guess he gets it from working in the Oil Field because those guys tend to be real pigs!! lol

Well it's not something that I make a habit of or try to do on purpose. It is just something that when you live with someone for an amount of time it is going to happen. When I was first with him I would have been mortified if I would have done it in front of him, but now I'm not. It is just one of those things all people do.

Heck yeah! All the time. He thought it was SO strange when we first started dating and he was always so self-conscious about doing it himself....but now we are just farting at each other all the time!

i swore to myself that i would never do this in front of him. but after dating for several months one weekend while at his house i ate something that had upset my stomach. he kept telling me to get "comfortable". well i couldn't help it, i done it. we laughed till we had tears rolling down our faces. this might be to much info but take a guess as to where his head was at the time???? so you can imagine how mortified i was at first. ;) but instead, we only laughed about it. now it is normal for us. we don't make a habit of it, but it is just one of those things. my step son the other day asked me if "fart" was a cuss word? i told him NO. he said his mother said it was and that he likes staying here since it is not. i couldn't help but laugh about it. well now that i have shared way to much info i hope you all had a good laugh about it.

Eric calls it "stepping on frogs"...the first time he did it we were at a horse show, he was on Lena (his horse) and I was leaning up against her with my head on his leg...I heard it (actually smelt it too...ewwwwwwww TMI), looked up and he said "hmmm **** frogs, one got caught under the saddle" so I waited until we got in the truck and I locked the power windows and "stepped on a frog"! We burp too...he rates 'em... first time I got a 10 he laughed until he almost peed his pants!

I dont pass gas that often so whenever I do its usually in my sleep... but I do burp in front of him regularly and it is LOUD! He thinks its hilarious!

I used to manage the ice hockey team at my high school and I would win burping contests hands down... I'm such a classy lady!

Yeah and it's not a big deal for either of us. If we have to do it, we just do it. It's a natural part of life.

Yes, and it had to happen on one of our first dates (you know ... when you are still trying to give the impression that you are perfect in every possible way!) I know it's natural but it was totally frickin embarassing!

Now, it's not like I go out of my way to do it ... LOL but I am not as inclined to crawl under a rock when it happens.

I have to say after being with him for all of these years we are very ok with eachother bodily functions and it is just life!!
