My dress came with a Halter piece to use If i wanted to... its really meant to be just a strapless dress though.. anyway... It was beaded to match my dress and perfect! I didnt want to spend 130 bucks on a flower girl dress for my daughter , so i went to a local bridal shop and bought a 60 dollar flower girl dress. It was perfect!! So im like hey! I need to add teal to this so she matches me. Well I decided to try and make the halter peice into a sash for her (shell be a bit over 2) The halter piece was actually 2 pieces with hooks on one end of each to hook into the dress. On the other end was a button on one, and 2 loops on the other piece. I cut the buttons and loops off... sewed the two pieces together, and cover the seam with a broach i bought at Fashion Bug that had teal gems inside to match. I sewed the broach over the seam. This is how it turned out
