Whats going on with it snowing...in March?
Has any one gotten snowed in this weekend? I'm in Augusta Georgia and there was no snow...at all. Just rain. My brother lives in Atlanta and it was snowing there, he took pictures it was very pretty.
I just thought that was strange, its snowing and it will be spring in a couple of weeks.

I am in the South Metro Atlanta area; it snowed here yesterday, but it is just about gone now.
I can remember a few years ago we had lots of snow and ice in March.

Yep. Snowing in March is the norm for us New Englanders. The positive, though, is that classes were canceled today!:) It's a good thing, because I was not about to drive ANYWHERE today.

I can still remember the big storm March 7 1962, I was 4 and we got 32 inches. The reason I remember it was it was my sisters 2nd birthday and we made snow ice cream.

It stopped snowing about 2 hours ago. The grand total was 10 inches. A snow day was cool, but now I want spring so I can put my deck furniture back out, open the sunroof in my car, and maybe wear flip flops? Ah, a girl can dream!

Snow in March is also totally normal here. Heck, in some places in the state we've been known to get snow in June!
Today it's just about 40' outside, though, which is nice and just a few degrees above the typical averages. I'm hoping that this isn't just another two-day thaw, that spring really finally is here to stay!
Last spring came really late and it was cold and wet and even snowy until May, almost.
I hope that doesn't happen this year. I hope the snow is gone and the ground is thawed by April, so that everybody including me can plant their gardens early!

No snow in Oregon, actually it is warm for us at this time of year, sunny and about 60. I'm pretty happy with this, I hate the rain!! I would move away but all my family is here :(
