This sounded good, I was thinking of making it, It is def. different from my fried chicken recipe!

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

"Simply delicious fried chicken using, of all things, cream of chicken soup! The other key ingredient is cornstarch. The end result will surprise you. It will be perfect - crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and loaded with mouthwatering flavor. This chicken will definitely be requested on a regular basis by family and friends!" Original recipe yield: 4 servings.
Prep Time:15 MinutesCook Time:30 MinutesReady In:45 MinutesServings:4 (change (http://chicken.allrecipes.com/az/BttrThnBstFridChickn.asp#convert))

INGREDIENTS:

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 egg
seasoning salt to taste
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
salt and pepper to taste
oil for fryingDIRECTIONS:

In a shallow dish or bowl combine the soup, egg and seasoning salt (be careful, as soup is already salted); mix together. Dip chicken in mixture and turn to coat completely. Set aside. In a resealable plastic bag mix together the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. One at a time, place chicken pieces in bag, seal and shake to coat. Add more flour and/or cornstarch as necessary, but add them in equal parts (there should be an equal amount of each in the mixture). Place coated chicken on a platter and allow to sit until it becomes doughy (this is critical, to ensure crispiness when fried). Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat; be sure to use enough oil to cover chicken pieces. Once chicken is doughy, test oil by dropping a piece of the 'dough' into it; the oil is ready when it starts to fry immediately.
Fry chicken pieces in oil for about 7 to 10 minutes each, or until cooked through and juices run clear. Drain on paper towels and serve.Come on guys! Submit your famous chicken recipes or some that sound good or interesting!

Cindy Sue,
Thought you might like this 1 too. It sounds delicious to me and it has bacon in it like your hubby's recipe does!
INGREDIENTS:

1 pound medium fresh mushrooms
4 Bacon slices diced
1/2 cup minced onion, or use part green onion
2 tablespoons Minced fresh green pepper
1 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
3 ounces Cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs, plain
1/4 cup Hot waterPREPARATION:

Clean mushrooms, remove and chop stems; set aside.
Fry bacon in a heavy skillet. Remove with a slotted spoon and set on paper towels to drain. In bacon drippings, saute onion, green pepper, and chopped mushroom stems until tender; drain. zSB(3,3)Add salt and pepper.

Soften cream cheese; blend in cooked bacon and vegetables. Press mixture firmly into mushroom caps, mounding a bit. Place bread crumbs in a small bowl. Turn filled mushroom caps upside down and press gently in the bread crumbs to coat tops. Place in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish. Add hot water to pan and bake, uncovered, 20 to 25 minutes at 325 degrees.
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen stuffed mushrooms.

Great recipes, I am getting hungry

Here is the Beef (well turkey) Stroganoff recipe, I made this again tonight ...

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 can beef gravy (12 oz I think)
- 1/2 cup cooked mushrooms
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon dry ranch dressing mix (optional)
- Salt/pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic (chopped and sauteed)
- 1/2 small onion (chopped and sauteed)

Saute garlic and onion in olive oil then add the mushrooms and brown the turkey. Drain and return to pan (I use a big deep skillet) add gravy, sour cream and remaining ingredients. Serve over warm egg noodles I will usually make green beans and garlic bread to go with this.
