I just wanted to throw this idea out there for brides who are looking for unique wedding favors. I bought every guest a mini wallet size photo album. The ones shown in the following links look great, can be bought for around $1.60 each if you shop around, and come in a variety of colors. I purchased them myself and they are very high quality. The only warning is to make sure you can request a color as some online shopping sites (Amazon is one) fill the orders indiscriminately without regard to the color requested.

In the first page of everyone's album I plan on placing a fun wallet size photo of me and my fiance. Then I am wrapping them in a gold ribbon (gold is one of my colors- coincides nicely with the gold corners on the album) and placing one on everyone's plate. Now for the neat part... We are renting a photo booth for the reception (the kind you see in a mall and take funny pictures in) and guests can get free wallet photos all night. The goal is to have people exchange photos and fill up their mini albums for a fun conversation-starter/ice breaker and a unique keepsake.
Finding a photo booth to rent can be hard (watch out for scammers who say they have a booth and really just come with a tripod, digital camera, and photo printer), but with research you can find one around most major cities for 1,000-1,500.
Just an idea...hope it helps brides looking for creative favors. :)
