Anyone out there find a good deal on tablecloths to purchase? I need to buy tablecloths for the outdoor cocktail reception. We need 10-12 round fuschia and or apple green tablecloths. The rental price is almost what they cost to buy and didn't know if anyone out there is interested in mine after I buy them or if you have some that you would like to get rid of. Thanks dog mom

I dont know what size you are looking for.. Just remember when looking for them.. Some sizes are ONLY available in black and white.. FutureMSD and I are both using them.

For 10 bucks they will send you a sample of the colors you want. But remember they will want that sample mailed back to them.

Yup! They have a lot to chose from. If you aren't sure on the size, just get one size in one color and another is a different color. They were definitely the cheapest for renting!

If you're using the long tables, very easy to just use length of colored fabric, just have to find the length you need.

If you are using the round tables it might be a little harder though I have made cloths for them before. Sometimes you can find fabric wide enough, but if not, what about cutting two half rounds of one color and a strip of the other. If you don't sew, no biggie, try iron on hem tape. :) Word of warning, slinky knits won't take to it, you'll probably find it makes a mess trying to attach them and they slide around annoyingly :)

I've also done it by using a roll of table edge length and then using two big squares of fabric turned different ways so all the top is covered and you have 8 points showing instead of 4.

I've ordered from linentablecloths.com, and they were great quality for the price (25 for $8.?? per 90-inch round). I went with white since they'll be easier to resell.

They have 128-inch rounds at $24 each (for 10-20), but no in your colors.

Have you considered doing the full-length cloths in white or black, and using your bright colors over top (a 70-inch square or round layer, e.g.)?

The other option, if you're adventurous, is to grab some RIT dye and start staining your bathtub! (Although, given the price for the rental site given above, I'd probably go with the $11 rentals!)

Someone on her (maybe FFC) used bed sheets that she had purchased at walmart for like $3. She used the flat sheets for the dining tables and the fitted ones for the candy table, the guestbook table, etc.
