It is around 30 degrees outside and the heater broke sometime last night. It is about 60 degrees in the house, but feels colder ... it could be worse though.

DH has called a couple of places so far trying to get the part locally. he said he is going to try to get off work early today so he can take care of it. Hopefully he can find it today and fix the heater tonight!

DH just called from work; he said he called around and found a place close to where he works that had the part he needed in stock. So he picked it up at lunch and should be able to get it fixed tonight!

Brrrrr is right. We woke up the other morning and the pilot light had gone out! It sure gets cold fast! Hopefully he can get it back and running fast! :)

DH just finished fixing the heater :jphappy: He said it was a little more work than he thought, but it appears to be working right again :whoohoo:

It was nice to wake up to a warm house today rather than a cold one like yesterday ;)

I bet....Luckily your DH could fix it...My friend's just broke and the guy who came in charged her 4700 bucks!
