This is what we have. They are clear plastic miniature oriental take out containers that we are going to fill with dark and light purple M&M's, which will be printed with Jason & Amber on one side and Sept 9, 2006 on the other. We have a lavender bow with these tags which will say "Thank You!"

We are taking the Hershey's Miniatures and rewrapping them with paper that we printed our names and date on. Just putting the new wrapper over the top. I got that idea from someone here, just can't remember who. Sorry...

I'm not having a reception anymore but we were going to do spring bulbs for our favors since our wedding is in the fall and that is when you plant them. Like tulips and daffodils. I was going to put them in little mesh bags with a little tag with a short and sweet poem on it along with our names and wedding date.

We had votive candles wrapped in turquoise tulle and tied with a ribbon that had our names and wedding date on it.

We did a donation to Habitat for Humanity. We just printed out little cards to put at each person's place setting.

For my shower my mother bought little minature teac cups, we set each on a tea bag. Inside we put a decorated sugar cube. Then we wrapped them in tulle.

we are doing custom book marks That is one of my 100 = DIY projects
:bbidea: What about a small silver wedding bell? These can be used for a favour as well as if the guests want the bride and groom to kiss, the bell can be rung so that everyone is not banging on their plates and glasses.

This wedding site has many to choose from. As well there are many other sitesout there for this type of favour.
Good Luck

I have Hershey Nuggets wrapped with personalized labels (cowboy graphic, eric and ellen, July 29 2006) and we are also placing the silver bells at each place setting with the sweet poem attached about ringing for the bride and groom to kiss.

We are doing something like this. We are getting red M&M's with my name on some and Justin's on some. We bought cute little favor bags at Hobby Lobby and are tying it with red ribbon.

I like the bell idea myself, but my sister had them at her wedding. She said by the end of the night she wanted to stomp every single one of those bells.

Those are so cute! I really do like them. Those heart pops would look great w/ blue in the center. It doesn't matter that u don't have red in your wedding, you could still do those rose red pops. Red is such a romantic color and besides, who made the rule your candy has to match your colors?!

Since your member name is Oct. 6 I didn't know if that was your wedding day or not! But.. I figured I'd tell u that my b-day is Oct. 6th! My husband and I got married on Oct. 5th so our honeymoon was on my bday! (His Bday is Oct. 2nd so we have one very expensive week every year!)
