I thought it would be interesting to see how old everyone was when they had their kids.
*poll coming*
I'm interested to see the results for this one!

I don't have kids yet, so I of course am not voting -- but Matt and I hope to start trying to have a baby in August, if I got lucky and got preg. that month I would be 22 when getting preg. and just shy of 23. Mostly likely I will be 23.

We are currently TTC so depending on what month I get pregnant, I will be either 26 or 27 when I have my first child.

I was 22 when I was married the first time and 24 when I had my first baby. I thought that was plenty old enough LOL but I felt like a baby myself, when we went to an orienteering meeting for my daughter's kindergarten class. The other parents were ancient!
I believe people are waiting later and later to have kids. I have always been am still one of the "youngest moms" amongst my daughter & son's friends. It feels odd to me to see friends/family my age, with little ones.

I had an "oopsie" at 21! But I wouldn't trade him for the world...

I've never had Kids. I lost two, one with the Ex and one with DH.
I've now been Sterlized and would rather get another Cat LOL.
DH became a dad at 20.
And a Grandad at 36. :bbeek:
Keeps us young, poor and happy.
His Four Daughters and Grandson live 300 mile away. But We speak on the phone everyday. Hearing Grandson saying "Love You Nanny-Moo" brings a smile to My face. :)

I had just turned 21. My parents didn't have my sister and I until they were over 30, and compared to all my friends I've always had the 'older' parents. I'm kind of happy that I get to be the young, fun mom! Not saying my parents aren't fun, it's just that they're more behind in the times...

depending on how things work out hopefully we will have one when I am 25 and DH is 26. I don't think that is young, so many people I went to HS with have 5,6,7 year olds!! crazy.

I feel your pain, my parents were 33 and 35 when I was born and I'm the oldest! :)
