Sounds like a cute idea.
There are also photo cube vases like these available

I would also put some tealights or votive candles and maybe sprinkle some flower petals on the tables as well.

I posted a couple of pictures from my daughter's wedding which had photo centerpieces. (The pictures are towards the bottom of the first page of the thread):

We used concave glass frames that we found at the dollar store (3 per centerpice) and then held them together with glue dots. We put flowers in the middle instead of candles because the reception was outside. However, the sweetheart table was in a gazebo so we printed pictures of the couple on vellum and put a candle in the middle of that centerpiece. Worked out very well...

You asked, so...I've gotta admit that I'm not a huge fan of Kim Anderson. To me, it seems like it was popular about 10 years ago.
I think it would be more meaningful to have pictures of you and FH as kids growing up.
I was really surprise when I saw that their were actually Kim Anderson wedding items......but the little kids really show me and my FH, personality and surprisly my Fh was all for it, he felt it did too. But thanks for your opinion, that is why I like this site, because I love everyone's different aspects of a thread.
