Haven't been on in a while!

Hey to all!
I haven't been on in a while, my dog Lady(aka Buggy) died a few days ago and I have been way too depressed to get on! I loved that dog, she was more than just a "pet", she was "family"! I was w/ her the whole time as she was passing, so in a way it's harder but also better because I was there for her. She died in my arms on the way to the vet! :( The vet said it sounded like a stroke by the way we described what happ. to her. She wasn't even 7 yrs. old yet and I thought she was one of my healthiest dogs! The vet said it would be $700.00 to $800.00 to examine her and tell me what happened!!!! If I could afford it I would have, but that is just wrong how vets "rob" us!! N E ways.. I figured I might feel better if I got my feelings out to someone else. My pup, Lady will always be here in my heart!

Aww i am so sorry to hear that your dog died. That's terrible, sounds like it was very sudden! It's definatly very difficult to loose an animal. They become so much apart of the family it really hurts. I cried for days when my dog died. I thought i had lost my best friend.
Anyways, take care. So something special to remember her by. We planted a tree for Snowball. Sending hugs your way!

I am so sorry your pet died. It is like losing a member of your family sometimes. Our pets love us unconditionally as most members of the human race do not. My sorrow goes out to you.

I'm sorry to hear your Lady died! I agree, it is so hard to lose a pet. My cat of 21 years died a couple years ago, I was distraught! take it easy!! :) And again my condolences.

I'm so sorry to hear that your dog died. I know I was devistated when we had to put my dog down 2 1/2 years ago. I had him for 10 years and he never had any problems. Then one day he just starting being overly lazy and didn't seem to want to eat. We took him to the vet and he had cancer. They told us he had a year, but a week later we had to take him to be put to sleep. I still have a hard time seeing any other dogs that look like him. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers

I know I'm a little late, but I am so sorry for the lose of your dog. We are "animal people" at my house and over the years we have lost many pets. It hurts every time. At least you know that your dog had a good life and was happy. Every pet deserves that. I'm glad you loved your dog so much. What makes me feel better when thinking about lost pets is thinking (I don't know what your views are on where we go when we die) that when I get to heaven one day all of my animals that died before me will be there with me.

I definitely believe in heaven and I belive in my heart I will see my animals in heaven after I pass! God prob. has a dog by his side all the time!:) That's what makes me feel better too!

I just wanted to offer my condolences as well for the loss of your furbaby!! I don't know what I would do if I lost my Rudy!!! I can only imagine how hard that was for you!!

Thanks for caring! I have 5 others and I don't want any more after they pass (which hopefully won't be for a very very long time unless they out live me !) It's just too hard to see any of them go!
What kind of dog is your Rudy?
