Check it out - Savvy Scoop; OneWed's Bridal Blog (http://www.onewed.com/blog/savvy-scoop)!

Feel free to share any ideas, tips and tricks that you might like to see posted too!

And maybe some of our active vendors might have advice to share for our new “Honest Answers from the Experts” blog column too?!

I was excited to see the article addressing the men. The groom needs some guidance too! I also noticed all of the wedding website template examples. I wish that the wedding websites would have been up when I was planning. They're so much prettier than the one I used!

I like it. I like the advice section on OneWed too, since it has an air of keeping options open more than lots of other wedding sites do.

I really like it, sorry it took me so long to find the thread. I like the "Love It" section too, it's nice to have different links on the page. Very nice and organized! Great job everyone!

I like it - to me it sits comfortably in the middle of a wedding website continium that I'd start at TheKnot at one end and put Offbeatbride.com or Indiebride.com at the other end. I post comments here and there, sometimes with my username and sometimes anonymously.

The only thing I don't get is "The Man Registry". The name is pretty doofy, and I don't think labelling it "The Man _________" will get more guys to read it - they'd have to be on the wedding site already to catch it, so if it's trying to carve out some sort of masculine safe space in the land of womanness... I don't know. I love that Onewed is friendly to gay couples, but the man registery is kind of... stereotypically masculine and gender normed, so it, to me, doesn't seem to fit the rest of the site which encourages possibilities. That, and it leads to a broken link.

I'm kind of curious - what is the niche that Onewed.com is trying to carve out for itself?

I think the Man Registry is another site on of itself and they are a guest blogger.

I think OneWed is trying to reach out to everyone and be more open and sort of like talking to a "girl friend/guy friend" than some of the other sites out there with the typical "gotta be this one way" sort of thing. That is my take on it at least ;)

Makes sense - And I think it's pretty successful there :)
