What would be your last meal?

I am watching Top Chef and this was part of their challenge. It got me thinking about what I would want my last meal to be!

I'm sure that my answer would probably change from week to week, but right now it's a $1.50 Vietnamese tofu sandwich from a local hole in the wall place. Perfection!

So what would your last meal be?

Yeah I agree, I would change week to week too! Although, there is something about the way my mom seasons her steaks and my dad grills them. Baked potato, sauteed mushrooms and a fresh salad on the side.

I don't like to think about last anything ... but one of my fav meals is shrimp or chicken alfredo from Olive Garden ... or a really good steak ... or some sweet & spicy bbq chicken *yum*

Eta - Ooh, Ooh; and I want cheesecake too ... or chocolate, chocolate mouse cake with fudge and ganache with ice cream :drool:

Oh yes, how can we forget about the alcohol...lol. I'll take a wedding cake martini, perfectly chilled!

Oh yes, serve it up! I had one at a martini bar on our anniversary and I have never had a cocktail so absolutely wonderful. That's all I've been wanting since! It really did remind me of our wedding cake since we had an amaretto buttercream.

Fried chicken.. but only from a really good place, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, a roll, and green bean cassarole. Mmmmm. With Mountain Dew... but it'd have to be from the fountain.

And then french silk pie or cheesecake... or one of those Kemps cookie ice cream sandwiches with chocolate chips going all around the ice cream.

All of that sounds incredibly good right now. I got home from work about an hour ago, so I'm in the mood for dinner foods.

Let's see, I'd want shrimp scampi, french onion soup and won tons. LOL They don't really go together but those are some of my top favorite foods. I'd want to drink grapefruit martinis and for dessert, chocolate pie.

Since it would be my last meal, I would not have to worry about calories, cholesterol, or a really bad tummy ache so here goes. I would just be taking bites not eating the whole thing because there is no way I could pick from all my favorites.



Aperitif Mimosa
Appetizers Blooming Onion from Outback, Chicken Tenders from Mickies (local BBQ dive), Crab cakes and hush puppies from Capt. John’s (Cobb Island Md.)

Breads Grandmothers secret recipie rolls, Hawaiian Poi Bread, Croissants, Corn bread muffins.

Salads Baby spinach with thinly sliced cucumber, grapes, Clementines, grilled chicken, bacon crumbles and fresh grated parmesan cheese with bacon ranch dressing, shrimp and pasta salad, German potato salad.

Fish Grilled Salmon with Lemon and herbed butter,
Beef Rib Eye grilled with salt, pepper, garlic Med. well
Pizza Pizza Hut Ham & Pineapple with extra cheese
Chicken Popeye’s fried Chicken

Deserts Oreo Cookie Cheesecake, French Apple Pie, Lemon Squares, Lemon Pound Cake, Death by Chocolate Cake, Chocolate covered Strawberries

Drinks 1 gallon of my mom’s sweet tea. Hot lemon tea.
