Anyone seen that new t-mobile commercial?

It has an older couple with the wife talking about switching their plan and the husband bickers with her about it, then when she says it saved them money with no contract, he says "I love you; this time I mean it"

I don't know if I should laugh at this or be sad at yet another joke about a dysfunctional marriage, like that is the way marriage is (sure some may be) and we should all just accept it :bbconfused:

Everytime DH sees this commercial, he laughs. And I give him one of these looks :irked:. I mean, I guess I can see where the humor is supposed to come since they've been married for many years and what not, but I mean....that's just a horrible line for a husband to tell his wife. I'd probably cry if DH ever said anything like that to me.

I have such mixed feelings about that commercial too! Me and Chad actually discussed it last night.

I think it's sweet.
I took it as an inside joke between them.

I guess I never thought much about it. I think the funny part is when the lady says "You've had 12 bulldogs, all named Steve!" That makes me laugh every time.

I could totally see my mom and dad doing that commercial.
