When I went to meet with the pastor at the church where we are getting married, he asked me if I had music picked for the ceremony. I thought I did, but he said we should have a song for the unity sand ceremony. I have already racked my brain for other songs, so I thought you ladies might have some suggestions. The only thing I can think of is Closer to the Heart by Rush. But I don't know how appropriate that is? I'll list the other songs I've already chosen, as well. Thanks in advance.

Prelude:
Leather and Lace, Stevie Nicks and Don Henley
Maybe I'm Amazed, Paul McCartney
Where You Lead, Carol King
You and Me, Lifehouse
Steady as we Go, Dave Matthews

Bridal Party Entrance:
Death of Me (Instrumental), Eden's Lost

Bride's Entrance:
Tiny Dancer, Elton John

In the weddings I have seen use music here it is usually a love song, sometimes "their song" and only part of the song is played. I don't know the Rush song you mentioned, but if it is a love song I would assume it would work fine.

I think my FH and I are using "Tangled Up in You" by Staind for our unity ceremony.

We're looking at "Something" or "Here, There and Everywhere" by the Beatles, or possibly "What A Wonderful World" -- we haven't decided yet.

For our unity ceremony, FH and I are thinking of Beautiful in my Eyes by Joshua Kadison.

I like the song "From this Moment" Shania Twain.

Or "There You Are" Martina McBride

Can you tell we love Country music?? LOL

What about "Endless Love" with Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey?
That's a beautiful song...if you don't love country that is LOL
