I was so happy to find the perfect place to get dresses that I totally spaced the fact these girls would also need shoes. Oops!

There are several things that factor into this being a hard choice.

1.) The dresses are a light/ pastel green. Most would call it celery or lime.

2.) The wedding is outdoors so heels are a bad idea, they sink into the dirt and oops! Fallen on your bum!

I've found a few options and wonder what ya'll think. Wouldn't mind other suggestions as well.

These are a bit pricey but I think a wedge is perfect for what your needs.

:bbeek: A bit pricey? I think my wallet just ran and hid under the bed when I looked at those, haha.

The second is much better on price range, but yes too bright. :( Green is becoming popular again, especially for spring but it tends to be too vibrant, darnit.

As for the wedge, I'm still looking more towards flats or very low heels I think. Granted the more I look at the top one, it -is- lovely. But daaaaaaaamn.

Are you totally sold on green shoes? What about something like a silver? And do you want closed toe or would sandals be ok?

Sandals are fine, but most that match I have found are rather spendy.

Like this one: http://www.shoebuy.com/annie-ok/275232/591832?cm_mmc=like-_-none-_-none-_-none

Just not going to spend that much, because I am the one getting them their shoes.

As for the color. Not a lot really matches the color of green. Silver would clash in my opinion. White -might- be ok. But I'd still rather find a matching or mostly matching green.

So, no thoughts on the three pairs I've found heh? They aren't the best, but if I have to choose and don't find something better I probably will lean toward the "Oh Deer".

On a second note, I kind of liked these, but I'm not sure if the fabric would be too weird with the satin dresses.

What about these (I don't know if any of these greens would be close enough for you)

Have you thought about having a shoe dyed to match the dresses?

Davids bridal has these :

I looked and they have a color called honeydew, that I think might work for you.

But there are tons of dyeable shoes available online.

I have thought about dyeables, but all the sites I had found online were at least $50. I may have to call David's, though I really dislike them hehe. Just to see if it's an ok price range.

Those ballet slippers are adorable! I'm not sure if Kiwi is light enough, but those are so cute.

From the three you posted, I like the first pair. Also, I'm not sure if you have payless shoes, but they used to have dyeables that weren't as expensive as bridal shops.

Honestly, I really like the idea of ballet flats, like what Sandy posted.

Or, I found these which I think would be cute: http://www.mydivascloset.com/1optoeslshdf.html

I'm not sure about the green color, but I think white and greem would look cute, personally.

The trend lately isn't all about being matchy matchy. Why not find a brighter, more vibrant green to give the outfit a bit of punch of color? I really like having a bright shoe to add color.

I think too white and sage green are ok together personally.

When's the wedding again? You might be able to find some on clearance after Easter as green is a popular Easter color.

*chuckles* :bblol: Well, it may not be trend, but it's one of the little things that I prefer.

As for adding something "bright" for punch, it just wouldn't fit in overall. We're using all light almost pastel colors. Kind of a softer look.

A friend at work made a good point today. She said her sister stressed over her girl's shoes way too much. And when it came down to it, no one was looking at their feet. Most of the attention was on the bride anyhow.

As to the DB dyeable stuff, I did some looking around at theirs today and it's still fairly pricey. The nicer shoes are like $50 +

I'm leaning toward the ballet slippers in the almost matching "kiwi" right now. It's a good deal, they are comfortable and they are cute. The only thing I'd worry about is that the grass may be damp :( might lead to being uncomfortable.
