Key West 6/12/10

So, we've decided to not go with a cruise and to marry in Key West. Right now we both are leaning getting married on Smathers Beach and with a package through the Doubletree Grand Key Resort. Is anyone familiar with them? We stayed at the hotel once years ago. We also plan on purchasing a reception package through the same hotel. I'm having a difficult time finding tropical/beach themed save the dates and invites I like. Any suggestions?

If you search through the archives here on this site, you ought to find plenty of inspirational ideas -- there have been a lot of beach themes :)

I'm so jealous that you're getting married in the Keys . . . it's so beautiful down there!

I've never been, but DH says that the Keys are absolutely beautiful! I hope we can go there together someday.

As for invites/save-the-dates... I ended up making my own because I'm cheap and I'm artistic enough to pull that sort of thing off, but I absolutely LOVE these:

Thanks for the suggestions. That stationery is cute, though I prefer the seashell design.

I've only been to Key West once, and we loved it!
