i was thinking instead of the center taper candle have a cylinder vase with a floating candle the same size as the vase and put something in the vase to match.. like a flower or something

i was just brainstorming ideas to diy a unity candle... i guess the two other candles would still have to be tapers but it was just a thought.

i wanted something personalized n i thought it would be nice

I've seen this on ebay I'm pretty sure. I think it's cute though.

I think that would be really cute and unique for a unity candle. If I had thought of this during my whole unity candle debate, I would have went with that because I don't care for the big traditional unity candles. We're doing a sand ceremony instead, just because I think it makes a nicer keepsake.

I like that idea! I'm not a fan of the sand, with the military we move too much and the sand gets all mixed up and no matter what colors you have you end up with caca brown. I agree also that the big candles are a lil to much or plain. I want to say some kind of poem of sort as we do the ceremony. I would like to lite his and he light mine, kinda because he brings lite to my life mushy good stuff. Is there a thing that is said? If so does any one know what it is?
