I have a HUGE favor to ask. I have been quite busy and I just found out that I have a paper due first tomorrow morning. I have to complete a career portfolio for my senior seminar class.. resume, cover letter, interview etc... I need to interview someone in my field of interest, which happens to be Human Resources. I have around 11 or 12 questions to ask. My professor is requesting someone on the east coast or someone in the surrounding states around Virginia. I am sure exceptions can be made.

If you can help me out please email me at hokielv@vt.edu
I really appreciate you guys taking the time to even read this even if it does not apply to you.

Here are the questions:

1. What is your job title?

2. What is your job description?

3. What are your normal working hours? Does this vary?

4. What type of skills are necessary for your job?

5. What are your daily job activities?

6. Can you describe your career path? That is, how did you end up in the job you are now? Please include your educational pursuits as well as prior job experience.

7. What do you enjoy about your job?

8. What do you dislike about your job?

9. Do you see yourself in this same position in the next two years? The next five years? The next 10 years?

10. What is next in your career path?

11. Would you recommend this job to someone else?

I will also need basic contact info. THANK-YOU once again.

I swear I thought someone here worked in HR, but I can't remember who.

Wish I could help, good luck!

EeeeeK! wow, I hope you get the help you need!! what would happen if your paper was a day late? I know for me some instructors are sticklers and give it to ya good if your late but there are some who are always willing to work with you. That might have to be an option...

I don't think she would be very happy...considering it is a senior level course...and it is a prep seminar for the "real world". I am worrying myself crazy right now. I am trying to think of something for a backup plan..I doubt any companies will want some college kid calling them at 8am asking for an interview either. I just hope I can pull this off...*crosses fingers*

I just can't believe I didn't see this earlier this week.. :/
