I am pleased, but they were grocery store roses, so they were already starting to droop and brown on the edges of the petals. This is 2 dozen of roses, minus 2 roses because the heads broke. I would have liked for the bouquet to be fuller. so I might add another dozen or two.

Let me know what you think.

I would add maybe another dozen to make it fuller...Especially for a bridal bouquet...

Other than that...WAY TO GO!!! It looks great!

Hey it looks beautiful!
I love the color combo! I would add some filler to get a fuller look, maybe baby breath or ivy leaves? Or some other greenery?

Where would you put the baby breath. Like inbetween the roses or underneath...I like the plain look, but anything to make it look fuller.

Do you guys think it would look better with pink and white, or leave it with the orange and white. I am stuck on which to use. Our wedding is the beginning of August. As it isn't fall(orange) but it isn't spring(pink) Whatever color I choose it will be duplicated on the pews and the flower girls pomanders/flower baskets.

Well, I am not having a bridal party, just the flower girls and the ring bearer. The flower girls I told they could wear white or ivory

Good job! It is really pretty! I think that it has just the right amount of fullness and that you don't need to add any more roses (but thats just me, I like smaller simpler boquets). The only thing I would change is the color of ribbon, I think that either a white or a pink or orange (depending on what color you choose) would look perfect!

Yeah, I think I will have the offwhite roses with a mixture of pink roses.
Also I will prolly go with a white or pearl-y type ribbon.

Thanks sooo much you guys!!!

You all are way more helpful than any other forum I have visited

Were you wanting to stick with two colors? What about adding some pink in there in addition to the orange and white?? Either way you did a fantastic job!!!

I think it is entirely up to you. I am partial to pink since that is one of my colors and my wedding is in August but that particular orange you are using doesn't really look "fally" or "fallish" to me so I say use what you want!

not hard at all, that was my first time ever trying to make one, just search youtube.com for 'DIY bouquets' or 'how to make wedding bouquets, that is how I figured out how to make mine.

I think pink instead of orange with an ivory ribbon would look lovely. I am not one for any greenery either. Maybe another dozen roses would be nice.

It looks great! Nice job!

The colors looked beautiful the way you did it. It's really up to you. Do you have a bridal party? If so, what color are they wearing? Is there one color that is easier to find than the other? Or would you consider using both pink and orange together?

My sister-in-law is using orange (more like tangerine) in her wedding (it seems to be a popular color), and she is coordinating it with navy blue. I'm thinking of making her bouquet with a variety of orange/pink flowers and then wrapping it with navy satin ribbon. She doesn't want a big bouquet, so I'm probably going to follow your number of flowers - it came out beautifully! Nice job & thank you for giving me the confidence to give it a try!

I like it. I love the orange but I also really like pink so thats totally up to you. I would add another dozen and use an ivory or champage ribbon. You did a great job!!

They look great! I tend to like the simple look too...no filler. I do want filler for things like centerpieces but there is something about just the pure color of flowers :) Great job! My wedding will be this fall and I'm using oranges and reds and I think yellows and heck, I'm adding some pink because I like it!

Both? Orange pink and white would be lovely. Your bouquet looks lovely, but I would also suggest something trailing like some ivy perhaps, or else a tad fuller just to spray out and cover the area just above the ribbon :)
