Wow, that is a lot of snow; you could get out with a little sled!
At least Lily likes it ;)
Stay warm now!
It is about 55-60 degrees here today.

That snow piled up near the deck is actually from the deck. We have been shoveling it off all winter so as to keep as much away from the house as we can.
Ask and you shall receive .... just after I posted this, I walked out on to the deck to find the neighbour's grandson shoveling off their roof. I asked him if he wanted to make a bit more $$ shoveling off our roof and so he's coming over after he's done there. :)
It's lovely here today.... it's about 32F/0C :) (and I am not being sarcastic ... that is nice winter weather!)

oh Serendipity, you bet it is spring! Almond blossoms dont ask if its spring yet, they are in a hurry always to be the first among the blooms! They just go ahead and blossom!
I saw many almond trees screaming for spring!

Oh how pretty!!!! Almonds are not something we grow in our climate. In fact nothing is growing yet. The first things up will most likely be the crocuses but it will be some time before we see them!

Mitch - did you take any snowfall pics from the UK? I have been checking them out on flickr. It's wonderful to see everyone out and so enjoying the white stuff.
p.s. the cat has taken your mittens :) Oh, if I heard a cuckoo, I would be looking around for a clock.

And this is why I live in Florida hahaha
at this time of year, I am totally sick of winter but honestly, I wouldn't trade my 4 seasons for just tropical.
If we could just figure out how to reduce the # of winter weeks and tack them on to the tail end of Fall, or the beginning of Spring, I would be a happy camper :)

Today the temp was 66. We took Silver out and drove to Richmond. On the trip home we put the top down. FEB 7 and driving a convertible with the top down. People were looking at us like we were crazy. What they didn't know was I had my seat heater turned on. :) And we were wearing our motorcycle jackets.:) My hair looks like I combed it with a fork. Forgot my hat and a rubber band.
