After reading Webladys thread about five things to buy if money was no object. What would You treat Your DH / FH to given the choice?
Mine would be.
1, A new Long Wheel Base, High Top Ford Transit Van. He loved His last one and the one He has now is too small for work
2, An X-Box 360. Everytime He gets paid He threatens to buy one. But the bills and rent come first.
3, A table top Fret Saw. He wants to start building Dolls Houses and needs something to cut the windows out with. (I never thought i'd see the day where DH got in on My dolls House hobby)
4, An Aston Martin DB7 in Steel Grey. His dream car, and mine. But i want one in Midnight Blue. He wants to see what one looks like with roof bars and a ladder on LOL.
5, Tickets to see the Rolling Stones before they kick the bucket. Everytime they have Toured the UK the Tickets have been too expensive. (I'm not sure if the price is the real price or a telephone number LOL)

I'm afraid I kinda snuck a lot of my choices for this thread into my answers to the other thread, though. I'd still repair the truck his dad gave him when he died, buy the house for his mother nearer us so he wouldn't have to worry about her so much, and fill a new home he wouldn't have to come home from work and work on every night and weekend with a great office with the computers he loves and all the great interactive techie systems he dreams of like flat panel TV's attached to the computer network so we could use our mythtv recordings for our own private tv channels playing our fav shows on demand, speakers hooked to the computer network throughtout the house for our music, and those cute digital picture frames in the hall attached to the computer network displaying all our favorite photos.
Ok, so the new house is also for me, I admit, cuz like most guys I swear he'd be happy in a cave, but I know he'd be so happy I was so happy with our new home. :)
Hm ok -*counts on fingers*- That's 1) repair the truck 2) house for mil 3) new house 4) new tv's 5) new digital picture frames so I guess I run out before I get to new computers for him. Then again, if we weren't saving for the truck repairs maybe he could just buy those for himself, he probably knows what he wants much better than I. LOL
