If you need a good laugh I suggest you read this.
I just heard this on the radio a few minutes ago. Some guy in Minnesota had court appointed community service for something he did. For the community service he was cleaning up at a site where they were having a drug dog graduation. This bright individual decided to bring drugs with him to the event! Well as I'm sure you guessed he got busted! How stupid can you be?

Oh Boy!!! Thats really dumb!
I have one too...(sorta)
My ex asked for a court appointed attorney when we went to court on June 1st (basically just trying to stall). Anyway the judge gave him a Paupers Oath to fill out first to show he had no income. The judge reviewed my exs request and this idiot (my ex) had put on there that he makes $6500 (yes sixty-five hundred!) a month and only had $750 in living expenses. And he then had the nerve to act shocked when the judge denied it and told him he made too much money!
I think some people are just born idiots...........

I read once about a mechanic that was fighting to open the door on a car he was working on. He had accidently locked the keys in the car. Finally the owner showed up and asked the mechanic if he had tried both doors. The owner walked over and pulled the handle on the passenger side and the door opened. The car owner said to the mechanic, "Oh no worries this door is open!" To which the mechanic replyed while still working hard on the driver's side door "oh yeah! I already got that side open!" It's like Jeff Foxworthy used to say "here's your sign!!!" lol

I can top you all on this one. Stupid is being a starting quarterback for the defending Superbowl Champions and deciding it is a good idea to ride your motorcylce WITHOUT a helmet and without a permit to operate the motorcycle. Big Ben Rothliseburger of the Pittsburgh Steelers, I am looking at you, baby!

I clocked it last night. His motorcylce accident happened 3 days ago. As of last night's nightly new, 17 of the 30 minutes were about Big Ben's accident. Today's evening news spent 10 minutes going over what he is eating on his soft foods diet and how that it going to affect his ability to play ball. What an idiot. I'm sorry! I grew up around motorcycles. My dad was a pro racer and a **** goo dmechanic on them in his free time. There is no way in hell I would ride one without a helmet. Just sitting at a red light you could get bumped and simply fall off of the bike and smack your head against the curb.
Also, explain this to me, my sil got a ticket ($90) for not having on her seat belt last week but this numbskull can ride a motorcycle without a hlemet and that is legal? Is this the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's way of finding proof to the Theory of Evolution?

In Hawaii the rules are the same. And the thing is, people there are horriable drivers. Maybe it's the tourists...I don't know. But I have NEVER for the life of me understood why people would think its a good idea to ride on a motorcycle without a skid bucket!! Hello, head meets pavement, pavement wins!! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out! They were raving about how stupid you must be to ride without one on the radio...I just LOL, and thought, that's famous people for ya. They think cause they're famous they're invincible! I'm not sure when these stupid people will REALLY learn!!

We were watching that on the news tonight. They did a segment on how it is optional to wear a helmet when on a motorcycle, but you have to wear a seat belt in any other vehicle. Does not make sense to me!
In the fire department, they call the people who don't wear helmets while on a motorcylce "donorcycle" riders. It's sad, but most people who get into accidents while on a bike and are not wearing a helmet, don't fair to good.

It's like Jeff Foxworthy used to say "here's your sign!!!" lol That was Bill Engvall (sp?), not Jeff Foxworthy ;) One of his jokes talks about him and his wife stopping at a gas station on their way to a ski trip ... the attentand sees the skis on top of the car and asks "You guys going sking?" He says "nah, just got those up there in case the car flips over in the snow" :bblol: "Here's your sign" Silly stupid people.

The did a segment on WPXI tonight about how motorcylce accidents and death have gone up noticeably since they repealed the helmet law here. What does that tell you people?

I think it is very stupid to ride a motorcycle without a helmet. I wont ride one at all because I am scared of them. My dad and my brother both have one. My idiot brother does not wear a helmet, but my dad does. Here in Texas I think the law is you do not have to wear a helmet if you're over 21. I could be wrong though. The bottom line is, you are stupid to not wear one.

In PA the "law" is if you are over 21 and have either 2 years of riding experience OR have taken a motorcycle safety course. In those courses you are required to wear a helmet. Of course 99% of the poeple I know that ride a bike don't have the special license to how it so how would you know if they have 2 years expereince OR have taken the class? The only person I do know that has the lisence is my dad and that is because he occasionally teaches the courses.

The world is just plum full of idioits and morons and there really is nothing that we can do about it but stay far away if possible and laugh at their expense. Joel and I have determined that the race just must be done evolving and now it is reversing and people are just getting dumber and dumber. It's bad enough when someone as stupid as a drug addit performing community service gets caught with drugs, but come one I'm sure that even though he probably "played" his way through school, that Ben Rothlisberger should have atleast minimal common sense......idiots!!!!

The other day on the radio they had a caller call in and he was talking about how stupid a woman was who lived here locally. She actually called the police to report someone had broken into her home and stole her drugs. Naturally they came out and arrested her for paraphenalia. And to think these people breed is beyond me.

About the whole bikers not wearing helmet thing...... here in NH you dont have to wear your seat belt if over a certain age and bikers dont have to wear helmets but they are required to have some sort of eye protection on.
I beleive the lifted the helmet law in Maine but you still have to wear you sear belt reagardless of age.
I wear my seat belt at all times, it is good that my kids see me do it. We dont move the car untill every one is buckled in.
I have one question about the bikers though and only because I have a friend who's ( boy friend at the time ) husband had this happen to him.
You see them riding with a helmet but no shirt or just sneakers and shorts or what not. If the crach they are going to end up with a HUGE case of road rash. And from what I have heard it was not an easy process cleaning him up. He had glass and what not in his skin. Took alot of cleaning and painful scrubbing. So my question is what is it with bikers? Do they want to end up in the hospital? Sure I wore my helemt , it saved my head. But waht about the rest of them. We have air bags in a car, what do they have? NOTHING.
I have been on the back of a bike before. And no I did not wear a helmet so I realy shouldnt talk. But if these people want to take that chance then I guess it is up to them. We take a cahnce every day we walk out that front door.
Ok I am now rambling. I will shut up now.

Bikes make me nervous for that very reason. Sure you've got your trash bucket on. But what about the rest of you? I know you can buy protective clothing. But in the middle of summer its too hot to wear them.
I get a bit freaked when there is a group of them on the highway. they comes wizzing arround you on every side and they make quick lane changes if anything where to happen i don't know that i could stop in time.
Mark wants a Harley type bike. I think i would worry myself to death knowing he's out there on it. Not because of him being a bad driver but because of everyone eles.

Actually, Kacie is partially right. You can go without a helmet if youre over 21 BUT you also have a special kind of insurance. If tends to run a little on the expensive side, but the ticket you can get for riding without a helmet without that insurance is BIG!!! At least that how it was, I dont know if things have changed or not.
Texas law requires EVERYONE to wear a seat belt. The exception to this is over 14, in the back seat. As Gwen said, my car does not move until all seat belts are buckled. A couple of years ago I remember hearing about a law being passed or trying to be passed that could get you arrested for Neglegence (sp?) of a Child is your child wasnt in a seat belt. Im not sure if this was ever put into effect or not. The fines are HUGE if you get a ticket for not buckling your kids. If youre in an accident and your child is hurt and wasnt wearing a seat belt, you can get charged with Injury to a Child.
Plus I agree.........IMO it IS stupid not to wear a helmet on a motorcycle.

Brian had talked about getting one too, because it would be cheaper on gas. Then 3 times on ONE day, he saw a car almost hit a motorcycle (once HE was the one the motorcycle pulled out in front of!) and quickly changed his mind. I was soooo relieved!!!!

I have a stupid one for you. When I was going thru my custody battle, my sons father (who lives in Cali) call the police in Az, and had them pick my son up at school stating he didn't know where he was. Question, if he doesn't know where he is, how does he know where to have them pick him up???

Der!!!! He actually had them convinced that I had kidnapped him which wasn't true. I had been living here for over a year already, and he had visitation. He told them that he had paperwork stating that I couldn't leave the state of Cal with Nico, but couldn't provide them. I actually had court papers stating that I could. They even listed Nico as a missing person on the national list, and listed me as the abductor. They said that if they knew I had a car at the time (which I did) that there would have been an amber alert. WHAT AN @$$hole!!!!

I am always thinking the same thing when some yahoo on a bike pulls infront of me. What if he were to lay it down? Would I be able to stop before going straight over him? Answer, probably not. I've run over ducklings and felt like total pooh, how would I feel if I ran over some guy infront of me who layed down his bike for some reason!!!
Lol...but here we go again with my conflicting feelings. Both Matt and I have been taking about getting our licences and getting bikes. I would love to have a canary yellow crotch rocket and Matt is in love with a blue one! Lol. However, we don't have kids and a family to rely on us so if we felt the need to do it, now would be the time, in the future though if we had kids we'd sell our bikes for sure! We are still rolling around the idea! :) And law dictates we wear helmets so no problems there, we wouldn't go with out one anyhow. And we'd be the type to wear the special gear, the whole nine yards, I for one, do not think road rash would be pretty and I think it would hurt like a bugger!! I KNOW it would! :)

Yeah I think motorcycles are cool but dangerous, especially when ppl drive them all over like a regular vehicle.
When I see bikes on the road they make me nervous. I think the ppl that don't protect themselves (helmets and all) are just stupid.

I personally hate helmets, but since a friend of mine was in a horrible accident, and another died nearly a year ago, I don't have a choice in the matter.
