I have friends that just honeymooned there (in fact, they might still be there, wedding was Saturday) and they told me they got an amazing deal at one of the ritzy hotels there. I can find out where they stayed and how they got the deal, if you like.

OMG, we JUST booked our honeymoon in Vegas last night at Mandalay Bay. It all depends on how much you want to spend and what you're looking for in a hotel. Gwenshak is the VEGAS PRO on this site. She's getting married at the Venitian and can tell you pretty much ANYTHING about any hotel you want to know. We chose Mandalay because of the awesome pool, great reviews aaannd we got a KILLER deal! :) Good luck!!!

You can get 4 nights+ roundtrip airfare for between $189.00-$700.00 per person. Like I said it just depends on how much you want to spend and what kind of a hotel you want to stay at. We're booked the 1st week of June, when are you looking to go?

Well expedia is giving me a pretty good deal 7 nights at the Mandalay Bay , roundtrip for 2 and a rental car for $1655, which i found to be a prety nice deal considering that our first honeymoon destination choice would have cost us just $2900.

We just got back from our honeymoon in Vegas and we stayed at the Bellagio. It was amazing, we were on the 34th floor with a lakeside/strip view and it was great. Awesome views and the hotel itself was great, a bit pricey in comparison to some of the others out there but I think the view and the gianormous room made up for that.

Andrea - thanks for the props! :) haha.

It's pretty sad, but I do know WAY too much about Las Vegas and the hotels, shows, nightlife, gambling, etc. I've been there like 40 times, and, like Andrea said, I'm getting married there in March. Mandalay Bay is a GREAT hotel - awesome pool complex. If you have any specific Vegas questions feel free to PM me and I'll fill you in on whatever...:)

Well I asked awhile ago and I haven't heard back from them. It sounds like some of the other ladies here have some good info for you though--sorry I couldn't help!

I personally like the venetian. It is more in the center of the strip. Go to the website of all the main vegas hotels, sign up for their email lists. Many of them are owned by the same company, so you can get on the list for multiple hotels at a time. They will send you very good deals on rooms and shows.

Thats where I stayed when I got married in Vegas. We got married at Mandalay bay Shark Reef though.

I just got back from another trip to Vegas, this time we stayed at the Belligio and had a great time. We went to the Paris Hotel's Effiel tower for dinner one night it was awesome.

I also reccomend the cirque show "O", also to remeber to wear walking shoes. That is a must, I though I would be able to get away with my work heels because we were just going to stay in our hotel and gamble. I was wrong, the casinos are so big.

I was married just outside of Vegas in 2005, and we always loved staying at the Luxor when we visit - but I'm a huge Egyptian art fan - always visit the exhibits when they come around here... It is on the edge of the strip and there are others that are more in the heart of it all... Definitely call around, because you can get some great deals! MB is beautiful and I agree with the opinions on the forum - the pool complex is awesome there! Good luck and enjoy your stay!

Wow thats pretty good. I went to travelocity and hotwire. Travelocity is cheaper though. I was thinking about Mandalay Bay as well...that was my first choice. We were also concidering Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
