My Pastor called tonight and asked if I had picked out the songs. Well I thought I did. But apparently there are more moments that you play music than what I thought.
Like unity candle lighting.. etc..
I have when the guest are seated.
When the girls come out.
When I come out.
But that's it.. When/Where ELSE do I play music? If that came out wrong. Sorry.. I just don't know how to word it.
Where can I find ceremony music timeline? If that's even what I am to call it.

If you're doing something like the unity candle you would typically have something playing, and of course you'll need a song for the recessional but those are the only ones i can come up with that are essential. You can add more music if you want to, but don't have to.

I was also going to say not to forget the recessional!
Here's the music we usually have our clients pick out:
Attendants' Processional
Bride's Processional
Recessional
We usually just play a mix of pretty instrumental music for the Prelude (while the guests are seating), unless they have something specific they want, then of course we play that.
The funnest recessional I've ever seen from our clients is "Ever After" by Carrie Underwood. It was SO happy and upbeat, and the words just fit so perfectly. It was a beautiful song as they walked down the aisle after getting married with smiles on their faces! :)

Personally, I think you can play music whenever you want. We had a live Mariachi band playing as our guests were seated. We played a GORGEOUS version of Canon in D while the wedding party walked down, and my parents and I walked down. It played for maybe 15 seconds after I finished walking down the aisle. (It was nice to have a little time to look into Bo's eyes and take in the beautiful beach around us) We had a ceremony that was about 25 minutes long, and had a sand ceremony. After we were pronounced husband and wife we had the mariachi band play "The Wedding March." It was great. Sooo, if you already have your songs ready don't feel like you need to add more songs just because. Your wedding will be beautiful no matter what. :)

A lot of times here people will also play a song when signing the license.
I found this online:

I am walking in to either Ben Folds - "The Luckiest", or Coldplay - "The Scientist." We are using Bethany Dillon- "For my love" for the unity candle. Our recessional is Marc Broussard - "If I could Build my whole world around you." We also want to include Warren Barfield - "Love is not a fight" somewhere in the ceremony.
The best advice is to choose songs that are special to you! Make the ceremony unique.
