Cute how I did that huh ;)

So how many of you like to shop at Wally World (as my Dad calls it)?

No need for debate or anything, just tell us if you shop there and/or how often :)

*Poll coming :frogg:

Me; I really don't care for Walmart and I try to stay out of there as much as possible. I would be fine with never setting foot in a Walmart again, but I have shopped there and probably will again.

I usually end up going there with my sister because she wants/needs something from there when we are out together. And my parents love the place, so I often get gift cards from there for them.

DH hates Walmart more than I do and will only shop there if nothing else is around or open and he just really needs something.

We buy our groceries at King Soopers and toiletree/ pet items at Wal-Mart. I go there probably once a month. There are certain things that I CAN'T FIND/and or won't spend 3x the amount on so I buy them at Wal-Mart.

I only go there if I absolutely have to. I would say that I shop there about 3-4 times a year.

I much prefer to shop elsewhere, but since I am from a small town it is generally the only place to get a lot of things. I probably go maybe 10 times a year.

I don't go very often....only to get cleaning supplies and sometimes things like soap, toothpaste, etc. I wouldn't buy anything edible there because, honestly, the place sortof grosses me out!!

I try to stay out of there as much as possible! I used to love shopping at Walmart all the time until I worked there.

We live not even a half a mile from Wally World. I go just cause its close. Though I do have to go to another store to get meat and vitamin water that they don't carry, but all in all, it's too close not to go.

In my hometown, we had a pretty nice Walmart, so I loved it. Now that I've moved, they're not that great here... but we still go there 'cause it's close. Eddie hardly ever went there until I came around. If we lived by Target, we'd probably go there way more often.

Ugh. I am not really a fan of Wal-Mart. But, since my family has a small business, I tend to like to support other small businesses/family-owned and operated stores. Most of the time, I go to a family-owned grocery store. Since we don't have a Target in my college town and 2 wal-marts...I try to get all my needs...toiletry, etc at Target when I am home.

IMO, Wal-Mart makes me feel dirty. I don't particularly like the other types of people that shop there...which I am not saying all Wal-Marts are like this. More than once I have really had to hold back my tongue to Mothers or Fathers who are literally abusing their kids in the aisles. I just am not a fan.

You can practically see ours from our house. It's not my favorite, but ours isn't too bad. It's mostly just college students since I live in a college town. I go there to get everyday things, and toiletries, but don't really do any food shopping there. We're lucky to have Wegmans right by our house. Love!

We get most of our "home" stuff there....household cleaners, dishtowels, shower necessities, etc. And with being a marine town, there are 2 super walmarts in town. We have a Target also and go there sometimes, but to be honest, they don't have all of the stuff we need/use, so we'd rather just make the one trip to Walmart. Although I have learned NOT to use their pet products....poor Bella. :(

But we rarely will get food there, as we have a Piggly Wiggly and a Food Lion about 2 miles from our house.

I go to Wal-mart at least 3 times a week, in a normal week. I love Target, but we don't have one in town so I only get to go there if I want to drive 30 minutes. They just built a Meijer about 4 blocks from the Wal-mart and I'm super exicted about that because the one about 30 minutes from us carries all kinds of vegetarian food!

I hate shopping in general but we do go to walmart a couple times a month. I hate it but sometimes its necessary. I do love their fresh french bread and buns. They are the best in town (in my opinion) but we do all our other grocery shopping elsewhere.

Yes, I love Walmart. It is not uncommon for me to be there twice a day. I'll usually go about 4-5 times a week.

I don't really care either way for Walmart or any other general merchandise retailers. The closest Walmart is a good 25 minutes away from us but a Target just opened in a new shopping center right across the street so we go there whenever we need anything emergently (like a set of poker chips in the middle of the night a few weeks ago when we had a group of 5 guys visiting and they all desperately wanted to play poker!), but in general, we pick up whatever we need from ACME or WholeFoods during our grocery runs, and/or order toiletries, household items, etc in bulk online to have delivered.

I have to go little more often for diapers and formula for Nicholas. Its best priced for that and usually i buy his formula at one time and usually costs 100 a week so i have to go where its best priced but for clothes and most other things i prefer to go elsewhere

I have shopped at Walmart in the past, but don't shop there now and don't plan to in the future.

I shop there because it's the only place in town besides a K Mart, which is dirty, more expensive, and has little selection. If we had a Target here, I would shop there instead.

When I go to Wal Mart, it's almost always late at night, usually around 11. I avoid that place during the day or on the weekends.

FH loves Wal-Mart and I can truly say I HATE it. It sucks out my soul and leaves me super grumpy.

I LOVE Walmart! Out where I live, its the closest thing to grocery shopping (we have some smaller stores), and its the cheapest in prices. They have everything and I don't have to make 1,000 trips to get it all.

With that though, I probably spend more there just because there is more to spend (we have a Supercenter).

I had to choose "Other" because, well, I HATE going to Walmart, but it's the only store around here so I don't have a choice but to go, lol.

I shop at the Walmart neighborhood markets every Sunday. I purchase all toiletrees and basic food from there.

We eat ALOT of string cheese. At Walmart it is .25 each. At the grocery stores it is .50 to .69 cents each. Since I buy about 30 a week, I save about $7.00 just on that product alone.

I am a cheapskate and don't mind admitting it. I will even go to three different stores for groceries if the sales are right.

I blame it on FH. He looks at the price per unit when I take him with me. I do believe though that we save about $1200.00 a year by shopping Walmart.

Now if I could just find a coupon lady to follow around and find out how they save so much money.........

For groceries we'd rather go to Winco. But if there are non-grocery items on the list we save a trip and just get it all at Walmart. We're poor college students, sums it up.

Though lately all the Walmarts in the area have had really bad produce. And I mean, zucchini, potatoes, onions, that are literally rotting on the shelves. Eyew! Dissapointing :(

There are some specialty things we still have to go to our local co-op for, or get online though too. Walmart hasn't heard of good almond milk, or agave ketchup here, haha.

I voted other since yes we shop there EVERY WEEK FH is a Walmart employee (not in the store it's self, but still a part of the company) so we get a nice little discount on top of the prices, so that's good. But I can't really say I LOVE the place.

I go to Wal-Mart when I need to get alittle bit of everything. But if I need to get groceries I rather go to Kroger.
