Okay girls, we all know it's been slow around here so I thought I would start a thread about honeymoons. I would like to know what everyone's dream honeymoon would be if money or time or kids or whatever were not an issue.
I was thinking of about a month in Europe. I would love to go to London and see the Tower of London. I don't know where in England the Stonehenge (sp) is but I would like to see that. I would also visit Rome and go to Vatican City. Of course I would go to Paris and see the Eifel Tower and the Mona Lisa. I would also like to visit Ireland and Scotland and see all the old castles I see on tv.
Another dream honeymoon would defiantely be Austraila. I would love to see a kangaroo in the wild. Speaking of wild animals I would like to go to Africa to see all the wild life there too, but I would be scared to go there.

Definatly travelling through Europe is a dream of ours! I would also love to just drive across Canada and see everything there is to see. But with all honesty. As long as it is with Mar..... i could be anywhere.
London is FANTASTIC! Tower of London! So cool! You can drive to Stonehenge in a day. There are a number of bus tour company's that will tour you all arround the country. We took one from the cor of London, we saw the romans baths in Bath, The white horses, and stonehenge. It cost roughly $75 and it was the intire day. Also if in london. I recomend the Jack the Ripper Tour. It's an amazing walking tour through the original walls of the City of London. And the tour guide takes you to a number of locations where people where killed and tells all the stories and the different theories on who it was and why they were never able to catch him. If you'd like i can post some pictures from my trip. Oh.... and if you go and plan on spending alot of time in London and taking the tube. Purchasing a week travel pass is a great deal!

I have to say we had our dream honey moon! Ten wonderful days in Hawaii. Now we'd like to take our dream vacation and visit Matt's family who are still in Germany and of course take a tour of Europe. I would really love to go Italy, I think that would be glorious. My other dreams trips include: Texas, Disney world AND Disney Land, Trinidad & Tabago, and home to Ontario to see my grandparents and my dad's family, whom I miss terriably and haven't seen in 12 years. (I did however see my Grandpoops for the wedding last year! :) )

Sean and I really thought about doing two weeks in Europe. We were looking at the UK, France, or Hungary. That would have been fabulous. But then we talked to people who told us how exhausted they were after our wedding. They said we wouldn't want to tour Europe. Those people were 100% correct. After our wedding we were so exhausted we could barely move. We spent the first two days just sleeping. It has been two weeks and we are still not ourselves.
A week in the Bahamas was paradise for us. We did exactly what we wanted to. We relaxed. We talked. We just had fun. It was perfect.

Hmm.. well that is kind of tough. Anywhere but here, really. I think Europe would be awesome. I also would like to go to Australia. That has always been on my list of have to do's before I die. I just really want to see alot of the world.

Shawna....my dream honeymoon would be what you had. There are alot of places that I would really like to go in my lifetime. Ireland, Autralia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, just tour Europe, teh Caribbean, and many others, but if I could choose my honeymoon, it would be two weeks in Hawaii with Joel!!!! Unfortunately we can't even afford a honeymoon, much less one to Hawaii!!!

I love that idea too Ellen! We were going to do that in Hawaii but we found we were just two sloths because of the heat and spent most of our time on the beach or in the Convertable Jeep with A/C going driving around the island. lol. maybe next time we go to Hawaii, we'll take the time and do it too! Tell me how it goes!! :)

Well Brian and I had discussed taking a cruise of some sort, but with us having limited funds and only being able to take a few days off, what we did was perfect.
Like Lacey said, we were EXHAUSTED, and not having to do anything we didnt want to for 3 days was awsome!!!! The peace and quiet of the cabin in the woods was exactly what we needed.

Cindy, you should check into cruises for another time going out of Galveston. Then you don't have to pay for airfare, just parking. I have seen in the paper those last minute deals and you can get a cruise for really cheap to some great destinations. They even have great deals for the kids too sometimes.

Oh, weve discussed trying to take a cruise for an anniversary or something. Its something we WILL do, it just couldnt happen when we got married. There were other factors involved!

We havent really decided yet as we are going to be away for our wedding anyway and im going to be nearing the end of my final year of my degree so wont really be able to spare more time straight after the wedding. We are toying with doing something after my exams tho depends on finances then too!
