Ok ladies - I've just hit a dilemma with regards to my centerpieces.

Remember those lovely inexpensive centerpieces that I posted the other day?

Well there are only 10 of them and I am thinking that I will need around 20 centerpieces so I was looking online trying to find what I could use on alternating tables.

And I came across these:

These would kind of fit into our "theme" although to be honest there hasn't been much done as far as our golf theme although I think our favors will be golf themed and maybe our cake topper (if the price is right).

Do you think I should resell my centerpieces I bought and do one of these or what?

Sorry if this is in the wrong area.

So should I resell the ones I have and do these other ones?

I hate making decisions. I had looked before for something like that and never saw any - figures eh?

You could. Unless you think you could incorporate them into the wedding somehow. Are you having a candy table? If not, then sell them.. Or take them back to where you got them. Even without a receipt they will give you in store credit!

hmm I am having a candy table plus the guestbook table and maybe those would be better at the head table....hmmm you've got me thinking!

I can't return them as I bought them off of kijiji so no returns.

I don't know what to do now...lol

I like them all! I think you could still use the ones you have like previously suggested - on the candy table, bathrooms (?), guest book table, etc. When I was planning I thought I had to have the exact same things on all tables but then I attended a wedding where they mixed it up and I loved it; but it was too late for me, I already bought everything I needed. :-)

Well FH got home a little while ago and he really likes the one with all the golf balls and the flowers in the middle.

Now our colors are turquoise, fuchsia with ivory and chocolate brown accents so the flowers would be in those lines.

I don't think he cared for the submerged golf ball and tee.

Why don't you use both of the centerpieces that you bought and the golf ball centerpiece your fiance likes? You could buy silk lilies just like the ones bought from kijiji for the golf ball centerpieces. You said to begin with that you'd have to do another centerpiece, because you only bought 10 of the ones.

My concern was whether it would look weird to have these as alternating centerpieces.

I showed my mom the pic of the one FH likes and after seeing next to a pic of the ones I already have she likes the new golf ones better.

This is all so confusing! I wish things didn't have to be complicated.

So I think we are going to try a mockup of the golf ball ones and see what it looks like. I'm also going to have FH price golf balls since that could break that idea.

A lot of brides alternate centerpieces. I'm guessing you'll need 12-16 golf bowls per centerpiece. I found this website that sells golf balls in bulk.

Thanks! FH also has a site that he buys from in bulk so I will look at comparing prices between the 2 sites or maybe it's even the same one...lol...thanks again!
