I just signed up for this post and thought I would let you all know a little about me. I am 22 years old from Michigan and my fiance and I have been together 6 years. We just got engaged in September. My wedding is September 25 2010. So far we are planning on quite a good sized wedding (over 300 guests) and Im trying to get some ideas. I already have my dress and our reception site...so at least I have a couple things in order.:) We planned a long engagement so we would have time to plan, but I already feel a little overwhelmed with everything that still needs to be decided. Thanks for reading and I look forward to any advice you can offer.

Don't worry too much just yet. Take your time and make sure you're getting everything just right. I can tell you from experience that you'll change your mind a million times. You'll choose things and when you go to purchase them they'll be discontinued or sold out. With your dress and venue decided your ahead of the game at this point. :) Enjoy your engagement, it goes by SO fast!

One other bit of advice. Since you already have you dress ... please don't keep looking and never ever try another one on. Because there are A LOT of beautiful gowns out there and you'll find something else you LOVE and start doubting your choice. It's happens all the time, it happened to me.

Yeah I know what your talking about with my wedding dress....I am in LOVE with it, but as I look at websites for ideas on bridesmaid dresses, Its hard not to look at wedding gowns. I know that as long as I dont look at them in person I wont regret my decision. Once my dress comes in from Davids Bridal and is hanging in my moms closet, I will feel much better about my decision.
