question about bouquets

I am not very good with flowers and silly me is thinking of making my own bouquet and my bridesmaids' bouquets. I would really apprieciate some help. my wedding dress is ivory and I was wondering if I should go with cream flowers or white? another question i have is what colors to do the bridesmaids bouquets, there dresses will be light blue (blue jay with alfred angelo) and my daughter will be in the same dress but in cobalt?

If you are going to use artifical flowers I would go with cream, because most fake white flowers look fake to me.
