Well my wedding is a western theme the flower girl dresses are light blue with butterflys on them. My Dress is being made by my grandmother and we are putting a butterfly patch on the bottom to coordinate with the flower girl dresses. The guys are going to be wearing Black tuxes with lilac cumberbuns, my fiance is in a white tux, with a lilac cumberbun, white cowboy hat, and boots. My brides maids I am purchasing their dresses online, as well we are putting butterflys on the bottom of their dresses. Our centerpieces are pastel bandanas, floating butterfly candles, cute lil barns with animals in them, and I'm not sure what else. So I need Idea's On A Western Wedding Cake!!!

You could have a cake with a basket weave pattern and have butterflies made of frosting or those cute little tulle ones you can buy at the craft store added. The cake toper could be a bride and groom in cowboy hats?
If you wanted to go really themed find a baker who will do a cowboy hat shaped cake and add butterflies to it.

Mine is a little different. We are having a cup cake cake. We are still having a small cake for the top with our western cake topper ( which just arrived today :D ). I am not usre how we are decorating the cupcakes yet. I just know we are have a 3 tier stand ( I have 2 extras, they are styrafoam , great hting incase one breaks while putting it together lol). Liek I said we will ahve the 8" cake on the top to hold the topper and the other 2 tiers with hold most of the cup cakes and then i figured also put them on the table around the teirs. I am sure not matter how it turns out it will be cool.

Start by checking our our journals. I am doing a wedding with just touches of the western theme. But a couple of girls are going all out with their western weddings. Look around at the posts and I am sure you will get lots of ideas. I have alot of pictures in my journal. Like I said I am just doing touches of the western style in mine but most of it is in the decorations. Good luck with your planning and welcome to the board.

You girls are so lucky to have a western theme wedding. I wanted a western theme wedding. But my husband wouldn't go for it. Oh yeah I wanted the white lace granny boots and the western wedding dress and all. The western theme wedding invitations. With sunflowers in my bouquet but that didn't happen. But I think that a western theme wedding would be so cute. Have any of you been to a biker wedding know those are fun:bbmrgreen:

A biker wedding? Thats sounds VERY interesting. I think I would like to see pics of that! My mother has decided shes a biker chic and I think her and her BF may get married one of these days, so she would definitely get a kick out of that!!!!

I bartended at a biker wedding once. It was interesting. The groom was my ex's mom's boss. He was scottish, so he wore a kilt. Thankfully, it wasn't too crazy. IT was in the mountains though, so the scenery was nice.
