wedding favors??

Ok so we were just going to do bubbles, bells and candy for our favors but my MOH, and pain in the a$$ sister, thinks we need something more. I'm looking at things but really think its crazy for some of the cost for favors. So does anyone have any ideas for a favor that will work? Our theme is fire fighting so I really didn't know where to go with it as far as favors which is why just the bubbles, bells and candy. TIA

I just finished doing the favors for our wedding this weekend. I went to Wal-mart and bought 2 boxes of 50 frosted pillow boxes. The boxes were $24 for 100. I bought 10 bags of valentine colored M&M's. The bags were on sale 2 for $4, so, $20 for those. Then 44 cents for a roll of brown ribbon and $6 for gold seals to go over the ribbon that i wrapped around the boxes. I could have done without the ribbon and seals, but I wanted to incorporate brown and gold into the boxes. It was a little over $50 for all the stuff for 100 favors.

I think the ideas you have are good. I've been to weddings that have had less than that. There was one where they had bowls of M&Ms at each table. It was cute.

We're even going to be doubling our centerpieces with our favors 'cause our favors are hershey rosebuds that I plan on making. And then we're also doing bubbles. I think that'll be enough.

I think most people just like to see that you have favors; they don't really care how many or what the favors are, as long as they are appropriate for the wedding.
