how much tulle??

so i plan on putting together my wedding favors myself i plan to youse a 2oz tall shot glass from herehttp://www.discountmugs.com/us/index.php?c=3&p=126#. fill them with pink and brown M&Ms in pink tulle tied with brown ribbon... so my question is, when buying tulle by the yard, how much should i need and to have a few test extras?? without buying too much or too little? i think we plan to do about 120 of them.

and if you can add, what size should i cut it? if you can tell from the picture, i want to have a little bit coming out the top of the glass for looks.

To make life a lot easier you can buy pre-cut tulle circles: http://www.save-on-crafts.com/tulciron.html
You can find these in any craft store or even the craft section at Wal-Mart.

Otherwise, if you do buy tulle by the yard, I say buy just one yard at first to see what works and how much it will cover, then buy how much you still need for all of them.
