I just had to share the wonderful news!!! :D I just got word that my new granddaughter was born last night at 11:49 pm and is doing great. her and mother both. she weighed 4lbs 11ozs and is 18 inches long. I can't wait to go and see her. she is a preemie but doing very good. mother was 37 weeks and the my new baby had stopped growing at 33 weeks because of leaking amniotic fluid. But they as said are both very healthy. Both should get to come home tomorrow. My daughter in law did not have to have a c-section and had her naturally. They have named her after my daughter, her name is Hayley LeaAnn. they said she looks like her older brother who is 3. only she has brown hair instead of light red. i wish they would hurry up and post her picture on the hospital site. I got tickled about the date of her birth. 6/6/06. my daughter in law tried holding back till after midnight because of the date. but of course she couldn't. haha. she said after a while she didn't really care anymore. but i prayed with all my might yesterday that both would be healthy and no date was going to stop that. it is hard for me to believe that i am now a grandmother for the second time. but what fun we will have. can't wait to smell her. :)

Congrats of the new grandbaby!
I was talking to Brian last night about women trying to keep from having babies on that day. He said actually when they say it, it wont be 6-6-6. It will be 6-6-0-6. Big difference! I told him when I was in labor with mine, I didnt care what day or time....I just wanted them OUT!!!!!!

Congratulations...new babies are always a blessing...no matter what day they are born. The most important thing is that they are healthy.

I found out last night that in some countries the number 6 is lucky so there where lots of people getting married and trying to have their babies that day because they belive it will be extra lucky!

Congratulations. I'lm happy to hear that mom and Hayley are doing well and get to come home soon. Hayley LeAnn was almost my goddaughters name too only at the last minute they changed to Haeleigh Alexis.
