Too bad you can't really tell what the model is wearing.

Maybe try to find something similar to the shoes.

Good luck :)

I would skip the necklace and leave the neckline open. I feel a necklace is just distracting with that style. Instead I'd focus on some long and lovely earrings and whatever it is that you'll put in your hair.

I agree! The dress already has quite a bit of detailing so I say lighten up on the accessories.

Agreed :) The necklace the model is wearing is too much. If you want to wear something, keep it simple ... maybe a simple pearl drop necklace & earrings???

or a solitaire diamond necklace & earrings???

Lovely dress!

I had a dress with lots of gold detail. I wore pearl drop earrings from my MIL, and bought this (http://www.helzberg.com/product/jewelry/necklaces/pearls/wavy+wire+cultured+pearl+necklace+1532871.do?sortb y=ourPicks) wavy pearl necklace to wear with it.

Simple, beautiful. I loved it.

If that were my dress I'd wear a simple stand of pearls that isn't too long and pearl drop earrings.

I would make sure my jewelry was yellow gold and/or had yellow gold clasps.

I'm a big fan of pearls, so I'm seconding (thirding?) the pearl suggestion.

I like this set:

ok, thanks to everyone's help, i think i have a good set put together of what i want.. pictures below..

now, the question is, what type of jewelry should my girls have? i would like to get nice jewelry for them as their BM gifts. they're wearing various black cocktail dresses in jersey material (one in a boatneck, one in asymestrical neckline, and one in a one-shoulder). should i be looking at gold and pearls to match my accessories? silver? rhinestones? one thing to note is that all of us have dark hair, so getting them black earrings is sort of out of the question.

Nice jewellry picks!

For the BM's why not get an earring/necklace set in an accent color that you are using. I've seen some nice colored gem sets on ebay.

I think it will also depend on the girls taste in jewellry. For instance, some people love the cosmetic, accessory type jewellry whereas others might prefer to have fancier jewellry.

Why not take them shopping and see what they tend to gravitate towards?

PEARLS! All the way. And if you can find some in a goldish or champagne shade, all the better. Pearls are simple so they won't compete with the dress, but the warmth will compliment the detail in your dress perfectly.

You picked some great stuff for your dress. I love those earrings. They won't overpower the rest of the outfit.
