so we did our rsvps.. they are not complelty DIY but pretty much. we ordered premium linen finished business cards from vista print and that was like 3$ and change and then we went to office depot and had cardstock custom cut to be a background or "mat"- that was 5$ and change..

we glued everything together tonight. only took a couple hours with LOTS of breaks :)
fh helped a ton.. now we only need envelopes. i cant seem to find the right size.. looking for 3.5 x 5 if anyone knows of a good inexpensive place to get them.

they match my invites very well - my invites are champange and pearl with a white lace belly band.. these are champange/beige with a white background.

I found these (http://www.createforless.com/Paper+Accents+Envelopes+3.5x+5+White+25+pc/pid137291.aspx?utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=cse) in a quick search; $2.50 for a pack of 25.

Great job Vana! They turned out great and what an original idea using the business cards and then matting them on other cardstock!

honestly, i cant believe how easy it was. i came up with a system, fh came up with his own too. we were doin them in seperate rooms cuz im a bit of a control freak and i was watching him do his to make sure there were no marks :)
i could hear banging (like a hammer) from the other room.. i went in to see what was going on and he was pounding them with his fists to get them to stay, he said it made them not curl and it also made no smudges hahahaha it worked i guess.. i was just pushing them down with a papertowel though (the paper was picking up any of the oil)
after the first 20 we both got the hang of it and it flew by.. watched the dark knight for the 10th time this week and they were done ;)

The small envelope they have might be just a tiny bit bigger than you're looking for, but it might work. And they have really pretty colors. I've gotten a lot of my stuff from them so far, and everything (service, product) has been amazing.
