Hi Ladies!
I'm having a difficult time finding jewelry for my bridesmaid dresses. The dresses are sage green irridescent taffeta from Alfred Angelo. I really like the irridescent crystal (chunky) necklaces I've seen in recent issues of Brides Magazine, however, I can't find anything like them in stores or online! I've searched E-bay, H&M, Target, Claires Boutique, JCPenney, Kohl's and Macy's with NO luck! I don't want rhinestone jewerly or beads...I'd like something more trendy that the girls can wear again. Any ideas are greatly appreciated! Thank you and happy planning to all you lovely ladies! :)

The type of iridescent crystals you are looking for are called "Aurora Borealis (AB) Crystal." Other than that, I don't exactly know what you are looking for. Do you have a picture from the magazine that you can post so we can try to find comparable products?

try etsy.com it's a site where artists sell their stuff. There are tons of jewelry makers on there and if they don't have what you want you can get something custom made.

Thanks for replying to my post. Here is a picture of the bridesmaid dress. I really like the necklace shown with it but can't find anything similar in the stores.

Thanks again and happy New Year!

I feel your pain... I searched high and low for chunky AB crystal jewelry after falling in love with a (very pricey) emsemble from MEG Jewelry. I searched all OVER the 'net, including Etsy, to no avail.
I actually lucked out at a small local crystal jewelry shop. The necklace that would've been something like $375 from MEG cost me about $80 (it was a bit more than the "standard" ones they had in the store, as I wanted the larger pear shaped drop... they also had round, shell, starfish and other shapes).
Here's the inspiration piece from MEG:

And here's what I got:

(funny thing though... after all that searching, I ended up NOT wearing them in my wedding, and I gave them to my Mom about a month after the wedding, because they went really well with a dress she has).
Here's the shop where I got my stuff:

The shopping cart feature on their site is fairly new so they don't have a lot of product on there yet, but it'd be worth giving them a call.
