I Ordered my Converse!

Alrighty so, some of you may recall I was playing with the idea of wearing Converse (aka Chuck Taylors) for my wedding shoes *grin*. After all who is going to see them much under my long dress, hmmm? A lot of gals I know have worn tennies, flipflops....

Well! I perfected the design and got them ordered last night I can't wait!

They offer a lighter pink now which I was thrilled about, it matches our colors better. The inside is in a light pink skull pattern. Down the heel it says "The Bride" if you can't read it, in a darker green. The stitching is all done in the same green as one side of the shoe.

I don't know why, maybe it's because I got to design them myself, but they already feel so special. And I'm feeling a bit retro to boot *giggle*

That's really cool - I didn't know you could customize their shoes. Converse have basically been my uniform since high school - love, love, love their shoes. :)

Those are freakin awesome!!!!! I keep telling my mom that I'm wearing flip-flops the day of the wedding (it's not a beach wedding!) and she thinks I'm joking! But you're right, no one sees your feet anyway, so why torture yourself with heels!

Those are great! One of my friends had all the guys (including the minister) wearing converse for their wedding. It was really cute! I may have to design a pair for myself now!!

Hey, you guys should know this thread was started nearly a year ago and the original poster already got married and hasn't been around in a while so she is not likey to to be back ... maybe someone should start a new thread on the topic of wearing Converse or similar shoes for the wedding ;)
