Well...today is Eric's first day on day shift which means I actually get to cook a real meal for us...

It's also Wednesday...so if he's not too tired (he worked 2nd shift yesterday and 1st shift today) we'll eat out after church.

If we don't go to church I'm going to fix lasagna and garlic bread.

I went out to eat with my sister and my neice. We went to Logan's (local steak house), they have great steaks and burgers!

DH worked late again, so he ate left overs from last night.

We went to an all you can eat chinese and seafood buffet; it was pretty good! I am still stuffed! (I had all the typical chinese and American foods while my hubby ate crab legs and oysters! LOL!)

OK we had the worse service last night. First she didn't bring us the endless chips and salsa we ordered. ( she ended up not charging us for them ) then she messed up the drinks. when we finfaly got the food whiched seemed to take forever, my sons was supposed to have been a cheesburger but it had no cheese on it, by thins time i was gettign ticked , I told them I wanted a whole new plate for him as this was goign to be cold by the time we got the cheese. And the couple we were with, Matt didnt even get his food. Every one else beside him and my son were eating, I was straving and my daughter was so we ate. He finaly got his food and the manager said he would take care of that. While waiting for the food my husband and Matt ordered a glass of water. They never came. Soem one else eneded up bringing them out as we stopped them and aksed for them. A few mins later some else tried to bring us water. First nothing and then too much. She didn't split up the bill liek she was supposed to do. When Carly asked her about the drinks my sons rootbeer was the same price as mine. She said it is because we dont have it on tap we buy the bottles. I guess I should have mentioned that in the beginning. Yeah that would have been nice to know ahead of time that I was going to pay over $8 for 2 rootbeers. So she goes to seperate the bill for us and she stops at another table to take an order. I was like lets go it goign to take her another hour just to do this. So Carly and the kids and I went to the cars. I had to go back in as I forgot my purse, the guys are still sitting there waiting for the **** lady. Nicholas said that was the smallest tip he has ever left any one. He left her just enough to cover the taxes she will have he said. The food was great and I have been there before. But the need to get rid of that waitress. She was horrible. I ahve been out to eat at alot of different places and this was the worse I have to say. We got ther at 7:45 and we didnt leave there untill about 10:00. That was the longest time I swear. Jsut to eat with some friends. We got a comment card and they will be hearing from me. I was ticked. Pregnant and hungry and two very hungry kids and this was not a good service.

Nothinn, they did nothing, the guy we were with got his meal for free and we got out chips and salsa for free but that was it. They will be getting a comment card back from us. We were all agravated.

Tongiht it is jsut hotdogs. Late supper as we did laundry late today. So dogs and maybe some chips.

I use regular crescent rolls, I guess that makes it sort of sweet. I brown the meat and mix with salsa instead of taco seasoning.

You take a can of tuna and a can of cream of mushroom soup, open both, don't drain the tuna, put them both in a pot (stir of course!) and heat until it's hot. Toast bread and butter the toast. Put on plate and spoon mixture on top!! Very tasty! lol. Even my DH said nasty, then he tried it and asks for it often!! lol :D

I made a pasta sauce with portobello mushrooms, cannelini beans, and some other veggies. I wish that I had some parsley for it. I ate it with whole wheat penne pasta and I also had roasted cauliflower. It was sooo good. I ate too much and I'm way too full now though. :bbconfused: I'm excited for Chad to get home from work tonight and try it!

gosh, i never have anything planned out. I just see what we have and make it. Most of the time i stick with my diet(haha ya right!) and just cook something for Evan. I LOVE grilling out!

I think that would be a great idea. We have tried to start recipe threads but they don't usually last very long. I think if we post the recipe everytime we cook something, that might work. Its worth a try :).
