Fredricks of Hollywood Question

Ok, I just have a question for anyone who has ordered off the Fredrick's website. I ordered my corset from them, and it said that it would ship in 1-2 business days. I ordered it Friday night, so I figured the earliest it would go out would be this past Tuesday. Well, they also said that they wouldn't credit your account until the item was shipped. Well, the credit was taken from account for the purchase, but it still hasn't been shipped yet according to the website. They said expected delivery date would be June 8th though....so I was just curious what your experiences have been with them.

Also, does anyone know if its shipped through UPS or USPS? I was just curious so I knew if I needed to leave a note to let UPS know to leave it or not...

Ive ordered from them around Valentines day before and they told me to expect delays but I got my order sooner than I expected. I wasnt pleased with my order, and had probablems getting them to replace it, but thats another thing entirely. They also shipped UPS ground, but this was 3 maybe 4 years ago. My step-mom (dad's ex) used to be a partner in a custom made "Bra Shop" and they made bras for Fredricks and they were slow about paying, or so thats what she said.

No problem, but remember this was 3 or 4 years ago, so things can be different now. The reason I had problems getting an exchange was because it was a sale item. BUT they sent the wrong size.

Im sure a lot of people wont have problems, but you know with a compnay that size, there HAS to be at least one unhappy customer!!!

I have bought stuff from the store in the mall but never ordered online. Hope you get what you want in time. Have you called to check on it and ask why your card was charged early? I would call.

I'm not concerned about having it in time....I don't even have my wedding dress yet, but I was just curious about it. If I don't hear that it was shipped by like Tuesday, I'm going to call about it and find out whats up with it.

I ended up getting my corset that I ordered yesterday on my way to work. So I didn't get a chance to look at it until after work last night. I came home and tried it on...I love it! And so does Alex! ;) He helped me get it sized right and everything...and the scary thing is, it actually fits! And its a 38DD...when I thought that I wore a 34C!!!! I love it though! I just hope you can't see it through my dress now....

Glad you got it and it works for you! Many times I have to order larger sizes from Fredericks. Plus I think the corsets are a little bigger.

Also sometimes people aren't sized properly to begin with. A friend of mine had that happen. She went in to Fredericks and got sized and fitted to a different size that she was use to wearing.

I wish I could say I wore a 38DD ;)

Yeah, I've heard that quite a bit that bras and such in department stores run bigger than good bras from Fredricks or Victoria's Secret. I knew someone that thought she was a barely A and went into Victoria's Secret and found out she was really a B...she was SO excited! LOL!

That really is funny...because I have always hated VS because Iorder their bras online and they never fit right...so I quit. Well maybe it is because they are sized differently!! LOL!!
