Hi, I just wanted to stop in and say hi. I was told by LizabethDavis that someone was over here "impersonating" me. It definitely wasn't me, and as Elizabeth already posted in that persons welcome thread, that I would be over to apologize. I'm not really apologizing for the person who did such a terrible thing, but apologizing if any of you thought that I was a bad person a pull such a nasty trick on people I don't know. I hope to stop by here more often (now that I know it exists....never heard of it until Elizabeth told me what was going on over here) and I hope that I'm accepted here! :bbmrgreen:

Sorry to say, but I have a pretty strong feeling who did this...and these are women who are in their 20s, 30s and even some into their 40s.

Oh and I wanted to clarify...there was a post that the "Fake Katie" posted and said that I was a member at BBB and I KNOW they wouldn't do something like this, blah blah blah. I USED to be a member at BBB until I found out how childish and immature they really are and I really believe that they can pull some of the things that were talked about that the "fake Katie" was defending.

My wedding is September 30th of this year. Just past the 4 month mark yesterday. We are VERY excited about it, and CAN'T believe that its only 4 months away now!!! We've been engaged for about 2.5 years now and its definitely time to tie the knot...but it just doesn't seem like it should be in 4 months!!!

I have my dress ordered but haven't received it yet. We have 1 of the 2 BM dresses....last week we decided to change our minds on them. Last week we also just switched our reception location because our original site was kind of a huge joke. Pretty much we have everything booked except transportation (which isn't a big deal because we are jsut going to rent a van...not a limo) and ceremony music, which we are still working on. Because of the reception site change, I need to reprint all our invites now, which I'm going to be starting hopefully tonight or this weekend.

I'll try and start a journal over here and just copy & paste all of the stuff from my UW journal...might take a while though.

I used to be over at the BBB too. Then I realized that I just didn't like it there. They are notorious for going onto other boards and causing problems. BBB according to them now stands for Beautifulbridesandbeyond but when they first started it was Bannedbitchesbuzz because they all got banned for other boards for causing so much trouble. THankfully over here we are all adults, at least when we want to be :bbmrgreen:

L3vi must have unbanned her because she is not banned anymore. There was another person on here who was pretending to be her and started some drama. Apparently some people got e-mails from BBB and then posted a question asking who it came from. To make a long story short some of the people from BBB came over here making drama and one of those people was pretending to be Katie. Now this is the real Katie and we are very happy that she is here!

LOL! Actually it was BannedBuzzBrides. At least that is what it was when I first became a member over there.
It might as well be the other. They pride themselves on calling each other that. The girls at first were ok but it got very "clique-y" and I always felt left out. I don't want anyone to think that everyone over there is bad. There are some nice and fun girls who give good ideas. But there are a few that LOVE to cause trouble with other boards and then they all sit there and laugh about it. Frankly, they need to get a job or activity or something that takes up some time in a productive manner.

Yes, I got banned yesterday...and I don't know what the deal was with that. I was a little upset by that, but I clicked on the saved link on m favorites and I had an account again. Thanks for restoring it. :)

Yeah, I was one of the original members at BBB. I'll explain my little story. I was one of the first people to join because Rachel (the owner) was my secret buddy on UW and she invited me over....plus I was getting really upset with UW then because a lot of other stuff was happening over there. I ended up becoming a mod over at BBB. I slowly drifted away because I got sick of the fact that all they did over there was complain about people from other wedding sites...."why did they post that?", "God their dress is just hideous.", "Did you see how ugly her FH is?"....I'm just not into that.

I guess there was a member to member fight that was started towards me, and I hadn't even gone into the forum forever because I thought it was so childish, but someone PMed me and pointed it out. By that point, the thread was PAGES long freaking out at me for every liitle thing I might have said wrong somewhere. So I got banned from the original BBB.

I ended up creating a new name and I got accepted back into BBB...for a while. Then drama broke out again, and I was banned again. I started another name, apologized to a few people for things that I did say about them, etc, etc. I was accepted back by a few people.....but majority of the people still hated me. So I spazzed out again, and got myself banned until like year 2077 or something crazy like that.

I'm just SO over how they gossip about people and make up lies about people just for their own entertainment and they just ban people without letting them speak their minds about something they don't like....when that was the WHOLE basis that the original BBB was started....
