I think we discussed this before, but it has been a while and thought I'd bring it up again.

Lets please not turn this into a debate over which browser is better or why; I am just curious what everyone here is using.

So please share; poll coming ;)

I use Opera for most things. I really like how you can close the browser and when you re-open it- it is just how you left it. However, I am not brower savy and don't know if other browsers do this as well.

I use Internet Explorer and have for years. I have tried Firefox and Netscape, but keep going back to IE.

However, I am not brower savy and don't know if other browsers do this as well.So what you can have a window open and close it and the same will come back next time? I don't think IE does anything like that.

Isn't Opera just for Mac?

I've always used IE and like it fine. I've heard people rave about FF, but we can't use it at work, and I like consistency, so we just stay with IE at home, too.

I only use Firefox (except when I'm checking web designs in other browsers) and really like it because it's open-source and you can get (or make!) so many add-ons. It's hardly just a browser; it's almost a content management system. I can email this page straight through gmail with a click, get the color code from that banner, highlight an address and look it up on Google maps with a click, ah I just love it.

Firefox. Always Firefox. Why bother with anything less?

Yup! It is really nice and if it crashes it will start back right where you were plus if you accidently close a window you just have to goto edit-undo and it is back.

I have a Mac now but Rafeal has a PC and he uses opera as well.

www.opera.com you can read up about it.

I use firefox at work and flock at home. Flock is really cool. It's based on firefox, so it does everything that firefox does, but it's got a huge social networking component added into it. It has a sidebar that will list feeds from sites like facebook or twitter, and it also has toolbars for photo sharing sites so that when you're on forums, you can just drag and drop your photos into posts. It's pretty cool actually.

Firefox all the way. Half the time we're not even allowed to use IE at work because of security bugs. I started using Mozilla all the time when I started running Linux, and it continued over in my Windows usage as well.

The newest versions of Firefox can do that too. :)

I use Firefox at home and Safari at work. Well, I also use Firefox at work, but I use Firefox for work related web surfing, and Safari for personal use, that way I can delete the history, and cookies and stuff.

Have always used IE. I like it just fine, but I've heard good things about Firefox too.

I use Opera (on a pc) and mostly I'm very happy with it. Only problem is once in awhile a certain website won't be compatible with it and they'll tell you you have to use IE or Firefox.... so, I also have IE on all of my computers and I'll use it occasionally.

I prefer firefox, I had always been an IE user just because I knew it and didnt want to learn something else. But one of my computer Tech's told me that IE is not good to use because it automatically downloads stuff to your computer, like adware or spyware, after that our whole company switched over to firefox.

Am home I use Safari for my mac and my iphone.

I heard something about that the other day, but didn't realize it was a browser.

Yep, they have it for Vista now! - http://www.google.com/chrome. We were using IE before, but I've never really used much else besides that. So far this is much better than IE, but I guess I don't have much to compare it to! :D

BTW - OW comes up #1 as my most visited website most days. LOL

I'll have to try it again. I think it was available for Vista before because I did download and it just kept crashing. But it worked on my PC with XP. Hm.

I think Mozilla and Firefox are the same? I used to use IE all of the time and would argue with Matt every time he tried to get me to switch. I got soooo sick of my internet pages just randomly closing so I decided to try Firefox and I haven't had it shut down on me. Also if something happens and my computer does shut down or lock up or whatever, it saves my pages for me.

Now I wouldn't go back to IE for anything... shhh just don't tell Matt that I know I should have listened to him a long time ago ;)

I love Firefox. I also used it at my old job because IE was constantly being blocked.

I guess Firefox has this function too, I just never knew it. I just checked and it has OW and my 1st and 3rd most visited.... haha must be two section of OW that it records. Google is the only thing between the two.

I've been using firefox for like 4 years now and it's just been great. Whenever I have to use IE I just can't stand it, I can definitely tell that firefox is faster.

Safari being the default browser on Macs, I had gotten used to it when I started having problems, mostly that I couldn't log on to my bank's website to check my statement and a lot of pictures weren't showing. A friend suggested I try another browser, but the only one I've used much before is Firefox, so I downloaded the latest version and I'm in love! Both of my problems with Safari were resolved and it's just really easy to use.
