Just had to toot FH's horn. He called me because he was driving and when I asked what he was up to he said, well I just finished snow blowing our house, the neighbors' houses and now I'm headed to my grandparents to do their sidewalks. Then I'm going to get up early and do it again.

I melted. His grandfather just had hip replacement surgery and FH forbid him from leaving the house unless he's there to clear the driveway and sidewalks. He dotes on his grandparents and enjoys helping his neighbors whenever he can. I'm so happy to be marrying this man.

Thats so sweet of him! Snow blowing could be a PIA, I know I did it so my mom wouldn't have too. Back in the day we didnt have snow blowers so everything was by shovel!

Aww how sweet of Him.

It's lovely when someone does a favour out of the goodness of their heart.

My next door neighbour cuts My front lawn when She cuts Her own. She says i have enough grass to contend with doing the back garden. With Ours being four times bigger than Hers.

I get Her flowers or choccies when She does it. Then She goes all bashful on Me because She said She doesn't do it for reward. But it sure saves Me a little job.

Some people in this world are just so kind. :)

I was raised in a family that really values acts of kindness. There's a verse that says don't let your right hand know what your left is doing. It's talking about doing things for the sake of kindness and not for reward. When one of my girls asked me why FH, I said it's because I can see him and I serving others together. I really appreciate the way he looks out for others, especially the elderly and the little guys.
