I thought it might be nice to share what our first dance songs will be and why...
Eric and I are dancing to Rascal Flatts "God Blessed The Broken Road", pretty self explanatory...we both have been thru alot to get to where we are now...and feel truly blessed to have our love!

If we would have had dancing, that was going to be ours too.
Brian says our pasts are what made us the people we fell in love with!

Sean and I used "All I Want is You" by U2. Sean didn't care what the music was he left that all up to me. I am a huge U2 fan (have been for ages) so it was only natural that the person's whose ambiotion it is in life is to hit the lottery so I can follow them around the world on a tour use them in her wedding. I also think it is a **** sexy song so I went with it.

We used "I crossed my Heart" By George Strait. We used it because the lyrics spoke to us, though we also really like Rascal Flats and "Bless the Broken Road". We ended up using Rascal Flats for our entire wedding party dance. It was also a nice thing that we used George Strait because our dance teacher had the perfect routine to teach us to give with the music.

We are using Elvis's I can't help falling in Love With you. I just really like the song. I haven't told Justin about it yet. I probably will not and it will just play! Haha.

We were going to use "I Cross My Heart", but I think we have now changed it to "You Had Me From Hello" by Kenny Chesney. We were driving down the road the other day, and J said that would be a good one. I forgot that he told me that I had him from hello about 6 months after we started dating.

Thats soooo sweet Heather!
Brian has said that too. That I had him from when I said "Hello" on IM. He said he pretty much dropped everything. I told him he was full of SH*T!!!!!

I thought that was sweet. For a big guy, he's a bit sappy.

Our first dance will be to "Remember When" by Alan Jackson. The story behind this is that in November of 2003 we were driving from Denver to the town my family lived in in Colorado, which was about a 5 hour drive. "Remember When" came on teh raido...and I made Joel listen to it....he hates country music...or so he claims. Anyways, thsi song reminded me sooooo much of his granparents, who have been together for like 60 years. I told him that I wanted him to be the man that I would think of in 50 years with that song. After a few times of hearing it...he liked it too. He even made me a CD once with that song on it. We dance to it and I even sang it to him at kareoke once. I think that it just completely sums up the love that I know we have. At our fiftieth wedding anniversary we will dance to the same song!!!
But we are using "Blessed the Broken Road" for my processional. I think that it would be great for that, especially since I am getting married outside and the aisle will be a brick walkway!!!

Jason and I are having "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5. We picked it because we relate to it. It is so romantic and funky at the same time. We knew we wanted something unique and that wasn't used a lot. I first heard the song from the movie "Something's Gotta Give" and I just loved it. It fits us!

I keep trying to add to your rep. but it won't let me. I wanted to say that I like "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5 too. Nice choice.
You other ladies had nice choices too, I'm just not into country music at all.

Some country music gets on my nerves....you can play it backwards and get your wife, your house, your pickup truck and your dog BACK!
I really enjoy all types of music...if it's got a good sound and awesome beat I'll groove to it!

There are some rediculous songs. I dont like the 'pop' country so much. I love the country from the '90's, and at our wedding, it will mostly be some from the '70's (Josh loves some of the older stuff), some from the '80's, and the '90's.
I am a country bumpkin when it comes to the music. But I do love all types, in moderation.

Classic Cash, Waylon, Merle, Conway....oh the list goes on and on....my truck stays on country but I can listen to whatever, as long as it isnt full of profanity and disrespect....EMINEM...he needs to be horse whipped!
