also, last night i checked my journal, replied to deanna's comments on there.. and today, its not showing in there!!!i dont get it. its so frustrating. i dont know if maybe this would help the tech guy locate the problem.. i know that the more info it can sometimes help.

I will let the tech guy know about this too.

That happens to me all the time at work. I will get replies to new posts in my email, but if I just surfing the boards, sometimes it doesn't show recent posts, rather is shows posts that were posted a week or so ago. All I do is refresh the screen, and everything is updated again. I just always blamed it on my not so good computer at work, as it never happened to me at home.

I'm just wondering what's going on with the formatting right now . . . 12/27 8ish CST to 10ish CST is when I first noticed it. There's a ton of HTML code up at the top of the webpage and the forum pages aren't loading correctly.

Is this just a transitional phase on the way to an improvement or a glitch that needs to get fixed?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Very bizarre ... I don't see any HTML code and all is working just fine on my end.

Same thing over here. Looks like the code for the background. or whatever it is up there.

The whole site looks different to me. Its all small font. I don't like it.

I see the code at the top when viewing the board in Firefox (as well as the small font) but everything looks fine when I view it in IE.

I know the tech guy was working on some things yesterday to try and fix some of the problems that have been reported lately.

I have let him know about this too; it make take a couple of days to work out.

Thank goodness I thought there was an issue with FF for a sec!

So now I am having an issue with the board and IE; every time I try to view the board in IE it freezes up and crashes on me. I have been viewing/posting in Firefox for the past few days.

Anyone else have any similar issue in IE? Could it just be me even though it only happens when I am trying to view our board and not with any other site/board?

I have reported the problem, but they can't seem to recreate it and therefore it is making it hard to pinpoint and fix. So I thought I'd ask if I was the only one.

hmmm ... now I am in IE and it is fine ... but it crashed on me a couple of times today already and several other times over the last few days ... hmmmm

I had the problem on Sunday. IT would freeze up every time I tried to view a thread. I haven't had the problem yesterday or today at all though.

ETA: I use IE for my browser.

Well it did it to me again this morning in IE when I clicked through the link in a reply notification email. The page didn't even load fully before it froze up on me :bbconfused:

Then I opened a new IE window and went to the board that way and I was able to get in one post before it froze and IE closed.

It really bugs me because this only happens with OW and IE and has only been a problem recently. I can't think of anything I have done differently lately. I can still use IE to visit other sites/boards I frequent with no problems.

I know it has to bug the tech guys if they can't see it or recreate it though too. I tried it on my husband's laptop last night and it was fine, but it was working fine on mine at that point too. He is at work now so I can't try again now that it is acting up again for me.

You may want to delete the temporary internet files for your browser. When you visit a website, your browser stores information from the web page on your hard drive in a temporary internet file. The next time you visit the same website, the browser takes the data from the temporary internet file & displays it. Loading information this way allows pages to display faster instead of having to wait for response from the Web site's server all over
again. Problems arise when the browser doesn't download new content for the web page.

If you are seeing content that is not up-to-date, a page looks distorted, or a page takes a long time to load...your browser might be displaying or trying to display "old information". If you delete the temporary internet files, the browser is forced to go to the website's server to load the page, which means you will get the most up-to-date version.

How to get rid of temporary internet files on Internet Explorer (version 7):
1. Start Internet Explorer
2. Select following: Tools > Internet Options > General > in Browsing history section press "Delete" > in Temporary Internet Files section press "Delete files..."

(Some browsers use the term 'cache' instead of 'temporary internet files'.)

Yeah I do that on a regular basis, so that can't be the problem, but thanks for the tip.

I had the problem again yesterday too. Like you Brandi, it's only on OW. I don't get the problem on any other site.

So far today I am having no problems (fingers crossed), but yesterday it froze up a couple of times; I even cleaned out cookies and all again and it made no change.

I was thinking it seems to happen more later in the day (well, most of the time) for some reason.

The last couple of days I have had no issues; lets hope whatever it was has worked itself out.

Anyone else had any sort of issues lately?

Yeah, everything has been good for me the last few days; I hope it stays that way ... I don't really like nuts ;)

you are first figuring out now that I'm nuts? Shesh, I thought you would have caught on to that a long time ago.....LOL

I haven't had any problems in the last few days either!
