Something blue.

I came across this today while searching online for my "something blue". I really didn't want anything obvious and think that this is a great idea for someone who wants to do the tradition, but not have it obvious. It's probably what I will be doing and figured I'd share with any of you ladies that are still looking for your something blue. :D

Very cute idea! I was thinking about getting a blue belly button ring for my "something blue", but my aunt has offered to give me a small blue diamond earring to wear in my cartilidge piercing. At this point, I'm not sure what I want to do!

I have seen the ones that day "I DO" for the bottom of the shoe but they were silver, and kinda pricy. I really like those in blue.

I could do both, but... A) I'd have to buy a new belly button ring and B) Blue isn't one of our colors so I don't know how well it would look wearing the earring. It's just something I'll have to decide later, lol.

Oh, I forgot to say what my something blue was supposed to be! I ended up forgetting all about it, but I had a something blue temporary tattoo. I planned on putting it somewhere it wouldn't have been visible at the wedding.

Also my garter is blue and my eyes are very blue.

Question about the rhinestones on the shoe - will the rhinestones not irritate your feet all day? Just something think about.

The rhinestones go on the bottom of the shoes. They don't touch you at all. They have more of a risk of falling off than hurting you.

I always kind of assumed that my something blue would be my garter. There is one I saw at a specialty store from home (ironically called "white flowers" because basically everything in the store is white) that is silver-blue silk with a few natural grey/blue pearls on it. I absolutely fell in love with it the first time I saw it (which I think was in high school!) When I visited a couple of years later they still had it but I haven't been back recently. I'm going next week to see if they still have it. If not, I'll probably cry really hard and then have to search frantically for my new "something blue"

My something blue is going to be my wedding band -- sapphires and diamonds! heh, that way I don't have to worry about trying to sneak something else in there :)

The shoe idea is cute, I've never seen that before, with the rhinestones on the underside of the heel.

I was wearing the shoes below this summer when all the sudden I realized "something blue!" and so I put them up to wear at my wedding. I love them! And, I suppose they could also be my "something old" since I've worn them three or four times already??
