I would love to see a picture of your flutes and the story behind why you picked those particular flutes for your wedding.
Also, for the married ladies, it would be really cool to see a picture of you and your DH actually using your flutes at your wedding.

For Amber, her color theme is victorian lilac. So, I actually found some flutes that had lilac stems so I had their names and wedding date engraved on them.
Here is the picture from the internet.

Here are the actual flutes that we received with engraving.

I don't know what ours will look like exactly, my FSIL bought them for us. She told me that they are just plain, with a platinum band around the top. There are no names or bride or groom on them. I'm sure that they will be great though!!!

No pictures to show here. But believe it or not we used the same flutes that my husband had used on his first wedding!!!! We weren't going to let a little superstition bother us. Especially when the ex came over and asked if we were using them. She thought this might bother me, wrong. so during the toast we just looked at one another and giggled about it.

Ours were like Ambers, but without the color.

I bought inexpensive, plain flutes, for Joe and I; the MOH and her husband and the BM and his wife (since our wedding party is small, I decided to have the spouses sit with us). Mom and I are going to decorate the stems with flowers and ribbon, making ours (Joe and I) a little different and special.

Mine are exactly like Shawna's except for they both say Kacie & Justin December 30, 2006. I didn't really pick them out. Justin's Dad's girlfriend got them for us right after we got engaged. They were on sale. I really like them. I think they are gorgeous, but I would have rather found something that matched my serving set (which I don't have yet). Oh well, I am thankful and I love them.

So, these are our toasting flutes. We actually got these for free. Somebody called us one night and told us we had been chosen to receive a free gift. Catch was, we had to go to a presentation. Yeah, yeah okay. I ain't buying anything though. So, we get there and it is for cookware. Not anything I need. So, they give us these flutes for free along with a free 2 day, 3 night hotel stay at certain hotels in certain cities. Needless to say, the hotel stay won't be used, but these 24k lead crystal toasting flutes still save us some money.

I got a call and was offered that as well. I thought about it going because I could hastled into buying something, but Justin is good at putting his foot down. We never did because of their schedule was really hard to work with for us. We might have even been able to use the hotels if they were in driving distance.
Karen...no, I haven't seen any fury glasses!

YAY! Everyone's toasting flutes are so beautiful! Funny story about ours, well not our toasting flutes, but the plastic ones I had bought for everyone else. Unfortunately, they were REALLY stinky, so we had to run out and buy some the day before. At least we found out the day before and not the day of!
These are our toasting glasses. I bought plain glasses and put the roses on them. I loved the shape of the glasses, it was just beautiful! And it made me feel important because I bought them in a fancy-pants store up by my mother, but got them for relatively cheap!

And here is Jason and I toasting, I thought it'd be the appropriate one for us using them:

I also bought our head table special glasses. They were breast cancer glasses they were selling at Hallmark. Ironically enough, I bought them less than a week before my mother was diagnosed. They were just tinted pink and the honor attendants and their significant others got to take them home with them.

I picked these up right after I got engaged. I had looked at them in Kaufmanns for the longest time. They are Vera Wang, Love Knots. I loved that they were so simple and has such clean designs lines to them.

Lacey, those are beautiful! I can't wait to see if you have a pic of you guys using them!
Thank you Karen! I loved the rose on them too! I wanted to use those roses somewhere, but they were too expensive to use too much, so this was perfect!

Here is a picture of them on the table, but not of us using them. I'm sure my pro got that picture though. I love how narrow they were too.

We originally had a set that had red swirls through it, but once I saw these flutes (well after a few times because at first I hated them) I fell in love with them. I just love how unique they are....and I'm not a very traditional person, so these fit in well with my personality...as well as my FHs.

I loved those flutes too...but I couldn't seem to convince my DH that he wanted them too! So I opted for something else, but they are a beautiful choice!

Yeah, my Fh wasn't fond of them either...but I convinced him that he really didn't care either way, so why not let me choose what I wanted! ;)

Katie, unfortunately, this was one of the few instances that he voiced his opinion, so I had to listen to him.
